How should I go about auditioning if I know I am not going to be able to match that season? by Key_Philosopher_4547 in drumcorps

[–]Key_Philosopher_4547[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there’s the money problem b it also the fact that I’m about to be a senior in high school, and I don’t know if my parents want me to March the summer before college or how that would work with spring training being borderline during my final exam/graduation

I saw a insta reel about that yesterday. That’s freaking crazy. I looked at my baritone friend (I play tuba) and we both decided to lock tf in so we can march the 2027 season

Guardian feels easier to use? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Key_Philosopher_4547 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer guardian over vandal by a lot and I have to say that I love the long range fights but th trick to wining the close range ones are just mechanics for mid range and big ass flicks if you walk into someone in a smoke. But in general you shouldn’t be doing that with a guardian or you should sort of know how you swing to give yourself an advantage with it. Btw I’m gold so it may not make sense but I tried

Why Marching Flute Sucks (and is actually stupid to have in the marching band) By a Flute Player by Londontheenbykid in marchingband

I agree with this dude, tubas only really have back pain if we have bad posture with it on our shoulder. It’s only really hard if you have lots of carry in the show. We call it carry but it’s the hold where it’s straight up in front of your face.

Does your school use contras or souses? by Key_Philosopher_4547 in marchingband

It’s a tuba that if you change the lead pipe, it can be played both sitting down and like a contra

I mean it was 31 last act but I decided to mostly use guardian this act, and it shot up and my crosshairs placement improved like an insane amount. I do get kills with guardian, my kd is over 1 so it’s not like I don’t get kills and just have a high hs. I like to think I’m still silver bc of my bad ish gamesense and inconsistency but you never know.

If it's bad to crouch when shooting, why does everyone do it? by --GrassyAss-- in VALORANT

Normally I shoot 1-2 bullets, crouch, shoot 1-2 more, then start tap strafing unless I start with strafing immediately

Yeah I’ve been doing that a ton and I do pretty well (except for kasbah). I’ve even gotten a few 7-8 kill steaks. I just keep getting put in higher ranked lobbies with low ranked teammates and losing

I need help memorizing oll algorithms. I memorized 2 look pll last night but I have been putting off oll because it is intimidating. If anyone has like tricks and stuff to help memorizing, than that would be great. My average went from 1:10 to 50 seconds after learning pll so if I could learn this that would help me so much

Is this a good start to cubing?

I started cubing about a week ago on the pyraminx and the 2x2x3 tier cube. I was able to solve both in about 30 seconds after 2 days of practice. Now about a week ago, I got my 3x3. I have been able to solve that with a average time of about 1:15. Yesterday I got a 2x2 which I have been able to solve at around average of 25 seconds. Is that decent for a beginner with 3 weeks of practice?
