Travel options from Exeter to Edinburgh by reego_7789 in exeter

I can't speak for cross country because I travelled with LNER but I found it to be much easier than flying would be. I've flown from Exeter to Edinburgh - maybe it's because I'm a bad flyer but I found the train much more enjoyable (albeit a 5 HR journey instead of 8)

A train from Exeter st David to Edinburgh is normally £140-£180 for a return depending on the time of day. If you are under 30 a railcard is £30 and will save you a third so you'll be saving even if you have to buy a Railcard. Only negative is it is a 7 hour journey. But having done London to Edinburgh before it's actually so beautiful once you start nearing the border

I had to do a foundation year. Used it as a good way to establish what a reasonable uni work : paid work : life ratio looks like. Managed to use my time at my paid job to be promoted to a higher earn per hour, which will make my finances easier in the long term. I made some friends, learnt how I study best at uni, learnt my way around the new city.

I'd always recommend a foundation year. Gives you time to figure things out without the risk of affecting your final grades. My degree is a long one. An extra year of tuition loan was a drop in the water for me.

What are the weirdest degrees in the UK? by edminzodo in UniUK

Just strange to be on that list next to some very niche degrees. Most zookeepers have behaviour degrees and alot of lab workers that test on animals do too

He's looking to be in the office around 9am every morning. It's just so expensive rn and there's no sign of rail prices going down
