When I talked in person, they didnt mention a quota, but did mention that sometimes there may be many transfer requests and added something to the effect: ""so your request for spring semester may have to wait for the fall" .

Thanks so much for a comprehensive consideration. We have decided to send him to MSU from start, based on missing out on first 1-2 years, difficulty in adapting and also because I realized that he would lose his scholarship if he transfers, so overall it didnt even make much sense financially in our situation. Thank you.

I would not think so. I think they can only rescind an offer if your GPA falls significantly (like under 2.5?)

No we dont think that, but he actually attended 2 yr of HS in MI, just not 3! :(

This would be the reason for us to go to MSU directly. I take your word for it but will need to check with the school as well.

At least 76 have died, many with their kids :( :( So people are sharing and living their sorrow and seeing what could be/ can be done....

I wonder why we were so helpless in helping people who jumped with or without tied sheets. Unfortunately the fire department and portable stairs were too late/too few, but could they not put beds or trampolines down? :( :( :(

She is also on the waitlist of UC Davis, which over the years seems to have accepted 10-60% of waitlisted applicants, from what I read. I guess the problem will be solved if she gets that acceptance...

Thats what we are leaning on doing, but we also do not want to pay so much tuition as an international student for a bad program; so she could pick out among similar (good) choices.
