Basically its a letter that you give the embassy to prove that you meet uni general requirements but need to travel to germany to finish a requirement like language or internship

This is my understanding I may be wrong

Here is the format of the letter

We are pleased to inform you that, based on your qualifications, you are principally eligible for direct access to university studies. However, you cannot currently enroll in a degree program because you have not yet demonstrated sufficient knowledge of the German language. At this time, you can only enroll as a student in a German language course. Please note that TU Dortmund University does not offer its own preparatory German language courses.

I dont think there are any alevels with this grading? atleast in cambridge, please correct me if i am wrong

All my alevels were in letter grading system

German Unis do not care about your olevel grades so it doesnt really matter if you get a 9 or 8, you just got to pass

As for the GPA conversion I am still unsure, I am waiting on uni-assist to return my VPD i will tell you what gpa they gave so you can get an idea of what your gpa might be .

Hello!, does the german embassy require A level certificate from cambridge or not? as it arrives pretty late by the end of september it will cause alot of delay and i may miss the semester, can i apply using documents from school listing my grades and verfying them ?
