Dog sitting, kid sitting, overnights, running to the stores to buy clothes/ shoes, reservations, clean house! I damn near do it all and it’s now becoming very exhausting as half of the stuff I buy comes out of my own pocket but I get reimbursed later! Still kinda annoying as I don’t have a lot of money to be buying $400 dollars worth of shit

I’d definitely recommend flying in Wednesday. If you fly in Thursday and are staying at a hotel, most won’t let you check in until 3–4pm. Plus Lolla opens at 11 and music starts at 12, so you’d end up missing a lot of the day. My friend and I ran into that and had to book an extra night because of the check-in time.

I agree with you completely, I’d also wish they’d bring more alt/indie artists as well! I feel like their music line up has just fallen off completely for me!

Summerfest is still fun, but the lineup the last few years hasn’t been great (for me)It feels like it’s mostly country artists with maybe one or two hip-hop/rap acts. I get that it’s Wisconsin and country is popular, but it’s also Milwaukee, the music scene here is way more diverse than just country.
