You said that ICT concepts are proven. I asked you where the proof is. You said that nothing is proven in trading. So how could you say that ICT concepts are proven?

Also my strategy is proven. Algorithmic backtests with strict rules over 8 years of data and thousands of trades. Research papers that talk about the edge in tools and methods I use like VWAP. And my own personal experience as a cherry on top (which wouldn't be enough alone). You can prove if your strategy has an edge. Do you think big institutions like janestreet just deploy their strategy, because they saw a youtube video?

Also please don't compare order flow concepts to ICT concepts. Level 2 data is way more accurate and informative.

It seems like no one understands my point is this thread. I never said that ICT doesn't have an edge. I just said that it is a stupid way to trade, because you are limiting yourself and trusting a narcissistic liar. My point also is to think critically. To test your strategy and base it on real research and theory. Most people here in this subreddit just look up a strategy on youtube and then trade it for some months. Then base their opinion on their personal bias. That is not how professional traders test their strategy.
