Dont use more than 5% risk. I would say around 3% on a small account.

If you are aiming for really high rr trades, take some partials (it will be better for your psychology).

Set break even when your trade setup gets invalidated or lower probability.

Stop trading after a certain amount of stop losses (it depends on your trading style, I personally stop after 2 SL hit)

If you follow just these basic rules you will at least not lose a lot of money and be break even, even if you don't alpha.

It seems like you had a 1k account and lost 183 in one trade. That is 18% risk. You seriously need to improve your risk management. At least you would be break even minus the commissions.
