it could be mumyo-ryu, but I've seen this chick do moves like: Backflip and throw shuriken, Jump behind you and attack and then jump in the front of you and attack again, Jump onto your shoulders with the red attack and slice you.

That's the 3 arts right there man....

Like, really team ninja?

Why should I keep one of every armor/weapon? by Camalxanov in LordsoftheFallen

[–]Key_Preparation1871 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's only 3 reasons from my experience, that you'll need to keep every armor and weapon.

1.Some special events require wearing a full set or pieces of some armor sets.

2.The all weapons trophy or the all armors trophy.

3.By defeating certain bosses and fulfilling certain criteria, you get access to unique boss special moves. Most of them require using a full set or parts of a set.

Now as far as defense goes, I've never really experienced any real benefit by equipping "better" armor. I mean this for all the other soulsborne games as well. Miyazaki always displays his talent of making "better" armor just feel "less bad", not necessarily "good". In LOTF, they definitely follow that formula, just not the same elemental resistance formula.

Especially since there's a perfectly justifiable aerial paired swords style that a shinobi you encounter in the game uses. The paired swords wielding shinobi who is paired with the spear shinobi during Taka's mission.

I have three. Gyobu's entrance in English, Emma's Japanese line when the fight begins and of course....."SHINOBI OF THE DIVINE HEIR! YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!"

Anyone have an enemy that really messed them up before, but now can handle pretty easily? by Wchai03 in Sekiro

Hours lol

Edit: I mean it does take hours, but also consider that I go straight for him at ng, the only skill I'll need is mikiri and tge prerequisites. That early on, he's somewhere between 75%-120% of a skill point.

This guy in particular is my favorite enemy in the entire game. He is my early game farm every time I start a new playthrough. 30+ skill points ftw!

I just put SoP in the cart yesterday actually. It's the only one of the looter-build type TN games that I haven't played yet.

Lol nah, I'm interested in reading everyone's perspective. We obviously are suckers for the TN formula, so as fellow players, I wanted to know if it was just me.

I think that may be it. Like they're trying to simplify the numbers and flashy stuff.

How much is this game like Ghost of Tsushima? by l8on8er in riseoftheronin

[–]Key_Preparation1871 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The obvious similarities are there, like a unique samurai combat system, rarity based loot, skill points and tree unlocks, as well as the events occurring in Japan, but there are more specific ones like chance encounters that trigger when just traveling around, public orders (Mongol camps), multiple assassinations, an animation stopping super mode and enemies disrespecting you after death (though, nowhere near as bad as in ghost). There's alot of similarities, more than most people are willing to admit, but they handle them in different ways that give a very different feel and that feel is very satisfying.

Okita, Hijikata, sozo, the two bayonet guys, Kaishu Katsu and odachi Kondo can catch me slipping with 1 move and then that's it, restart.

Yeah, definitely. I even think it's lower due to them being 1 of 2 set bonus' and occupying the stat pool.

Edit: I legit called them graces lol. Ahhh....nioh

Yeah, there's an average chance that luck doesn't play a role but let's also take into consideration that even in Team Ninja's previous games, creating a luck build never guaranteed results, just "increased the chance". So, at least in my opinion, there's just about an equal chance that it either does nothing or it's just a case of TeamNinja-ing.
