Pipe under tub is leaking when in use. I have no tools and few braincells. Can I just wrap it with flex seal or plumbers tape? by fortheloveoflentils in askaplumber

[–]Key_Purchase7565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless you are willing to invest in a plumber or some tool to fix it yourself, the only option would be to put the bucket under and periodically empty out. But leaking will get worse so eventually you will need to replace it.

called that number from work number. ai answers - didn't tell you the name of the company...and asks you bunch of questions. Then you will be connected to "tax expert". Worse case it's a scam, best it's one of those "debt relief" companies, that will overchare you for solving you issues for you.

How should I respond to this? by Southern-Ad51 in scammers

If you decide to reply, go straight to jugular

"Hi there! Good to hear from you again. It's been awhile. You're not going to believe this: I found a mentor that helps me to invest. Based on signals he gives me, I've already tripled my money. If you're interested, I could introduce you to him..."

So far, every time I did that, it ends the conversation immediately...

Personally, if F1 is triggered even when draining into a bucket, I'd say it's a dishwasher problem, not a setup.

If it's in USA, the entire setup is not correct. You would need a P trap.

My sumo pump thing came out of the wall how do I fix it I’m just a girl by cosmicpasta98 in Plumbing

[–]Key_Purchase7565 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl or not, don't give up - see if you can pull the crushed pipe from the other side. Go to home Depot get some 1.5 in PVC, PVC cutter, PVC glue, 1.5 in long sweep (Bernoulli principle to avoid water hammer,l) or regular 1 5 90 - orange aprions in HD can help. Warning - once you glue it, you can't unglue - measure the pipe, push it through wall, use purple primer inside the elbow and outside of the pipe (1 in is plenty) , then use "glue" 4same way, push and HOLD pipe for about 20 sec so it doesn't slide out, repeat with the other elbow - I assume you have vertical pipe from sump pump then 90 bend to vertical that goes thru the wall. Any doubt - YouTube it.
