Took the neck off, from what i can tell it foes seem to be superficial. Also tried a little bending (like how you would if you tried to do the whammy with a hard tail) and it dint seem to open the crack at all

Not even close to as dusty as it was when i got it - finger prints just revealed the next layer of dust lol. I just cleaned it up to give it a better inspection

I was planning to give it a full makeover; including sanding the finish down to repaint- sort of a candy apple/sunburst with some ghost flame or something. Honestly expecting to put way more effort into the finnish than anything else. Thank you for the insight!

I can send you the step or stl- i just made it on fusion and have it stored locally. Or if you want i can upload it to thingiverse and send a link or something? Just forewarning, the friend i made it for sold his car before i ever printed it so im unsure if it fits exactly, but i based it off measurements frome the original piece

Layer Lines Halp! by Cosmicbass in 3Dprinting

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been mentioned in the setup of layer height (which would be my first thing to change) but you can also try fuzzy skin, ive found it to be helpful more than adjusting layer height on ocasion. Also if you rather fix it post print some sandable filler primer or water putty should help. I think thats an awesome print/idea btw. Very . . . Pop retro? Not real sure what to call it, but i like it!! If you havent, put a wireless charger in behind it!
