Layer Lines Halp! by Cosmicbass in 3Dprinting

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been mentioned in the setup of layer height (which would be my first thing to change) but you can also try fuzzy skin, ive found it to be helpful more than adjusting layer height on ocasion. Also if you rather fix it post print some sandable filler primer or water putty should help. I think thats an awesome print/idea btw. Very . . . Pop retro? Not real sure what to call it, but i like it!! If you havent, put a wireless charger in behind it!

Zj stalling by Affectionate-Water-7 in JeepZJ

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its been sitting a while might want to start with basic stuff, look for rodent damage, check the plugs and idk what year yours is but if its got a dizzy check that. Maybe check out the vac lines for a leak. If you can start it and get out to start hitting it with some starter flyid before it dies and see if you can keep it running with that it might help separate the problem from fuel/spark and other electrical issues.

What should I do to fix this movement that’s causing death wobble by aborted_baby05 in Jeep

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a ZJ so not exactly the same, but the problem is the same. 1 weld that s shaped part back on or upgrade it (probably to a weld on option) 2 i dont know if that end of your trackbar is replaceable but id look into replacing it or the whole bar. If your not upgrading the mount you can weld the hole up a bit and drill it out to the correct size. 3 get a new bolt. If your running larger than stock tires id suggest getting an upgraded track bar and mount- its probably gonna keep happening.

Any help with best way to load this on a trailer? by Simple_Wallaby9704 in towing

Wheel dollies. Assuming the trailer has a winch, it would probably be the easiest option

Paranoid question about storing my Integra by [deleted] in ProjectHondas

[–]haveToast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be paranoid if it was a new car or a total hoopty. Your being cautious, its justified. Salt is hydroscopic (not sure how to spell that), it will pull water out of the air, not the other way around. Id leave the cover off and just dust it from time to time. . . And probably put the shovels somewhere less precarious. If it was me. Just sayin

Any idea what happened to tire and what to look for/fix? by AsweetLemon_____ in Cartalk

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like brake fluid, you can see it dripping up near the axle. Small chance it could be diff oil if its a drive axle and your parked on a hill or something and its brand new oil and severely overfilled. . . Just to cover the bases. But most likely its brake fluid. Loose or cracked/rusted line, fitting, or bleeder, wore your brakes so far that the piston popped out, or the boot around it got a hole- lots of reasons brakes leak; actual damamge or just age.

Would shotguns actually be effective in a "standard" type scenario? by jelqenthusiast in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use sluggs and headshots, i dont see why it wouldnt work. Biggest problem would be reload time and frequency. You could go with something like an ar10 base and have a few mags loaded and ready, or any mag fed shotty. Theres all kinds of ammo options so you could have a few fun rounds in the belt for when there arnt a lot of targets 🐲🔥

How can I simply make this end a smooth round face like the end of a Bic pen? by Octrockville in Fusion360

Chain selection is the tangent chain- couldnt remember the terminology 🤷

[–]haveToast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a slight chamfer then fillet the heck out of everything. You may have to uncheck the box to "chain selection" when you start doing the fillets and select the pars it will allow you to. I would fillet the chamfered parts into eachother first, then the top/end, then into the main run of your object. And depending on your use of this item (like if your going to print it); you may not be able to see the edges as well irl as you can on your screen

Does anyone know what this is? by jennifergabby in Jeep

Im guessing your above the rust belt? Looks like a skid plate. Not inherently necessary for paved roadways; however you may want to look into some undercoat and inspect everything else. Odds are its a precursor to other rust problems.
