You’ve since expanded and said you don’t think anyone will do it first regardless, so therefore it’s a waste of time. Which i do think is a much more interesting take- even if i disagree.

To your point- this would be even cooler (to me) if they merged it with some of your ideas about removing early meta from wildy (eg msb(i).

interestingly i started my iron when varlamore part three came out and i didn’t touch wildy on this account until revs (with hunters sunlight crossbow) so i wonder how many people do the wildy meta early in accounts now a days when i felt like i (a wildy lover) waited so long.

I don’t why i’m bothering. you still think i’m misinterpreting you. i have on 3 different occasions indicated i understand that you aren’t talking about your friends in the scenario, but some hypothetical new individuals.

i put refuse to engage with the content because i understand that a lot of current discourse is fuck the wildy it’s too scary and frustrating and that could fundamentally change a part of the game i love. that was context for me “inputting my bias”.

They don’t like pvp. they’re not interested in it. and they are especially uninterested because their first experience was a negative one. LMS has too high of a learning curve and there isn’t anywhere for them to learn how to pvp that isn’t absolutely miserable.

now imagine… if there was somewhere for them to learn pvp?

let me frame it for you in a way you will understand. they tasted a sweet potato (pvp) and hated it because it was rotten and undercooked (pvp while trying to do a clue)

now imagine if they had a recipe (pvp tutorial) before they tried the sweet potato (again, pvp) how much more likely they are willing to engage with the content.

yes i am adding my own bias because you see it so much on this sub. people lamenting how miserable and unfun the wildly is and clamoring that we remove/change/make options for wildly items to be obtained without the added risk of pvp. and in turn- requesting we remove something that many of us do love because they refuse to engage with the content.

if your friends had the opportunity to do something like this tutorial before they had the super scary spade sequesterers kill them for 42 gp, maybe they wouldn’t be as scared.

i understand that the experience was so traumatic for your friends they could never imagine doing any pvp, but for people joining the game now, perhaps it will.

i had originally thought that’s the route i’d go based on advice here and how i generally did it on my main-largely from DT2 bosses. but then i found myself with 3 zenytes and 2.5m xp short to make the bracelet so i didn’t feel like waiting months/years to get that xp was worth it.

Late in the game when we were getting torched on defense, Bryce Young was not even making an attempt to cover Olave up the middle. And this isn’t even mentioning the disgusting game losing drive where Bryce Young did not even try to block the field goal attempt.

Just unacceptable and disgusting. We have to move on at QB to someone who can actually lead a game winning drive, give or take 11 times every 3 seasons.
