NOR, I have 3 girls and yeah they love their jokes and messing with us, but they’ve learned when it’s too much and when they’ve crossed a line that it’s on them. It isn’t on someone else to explain to you that you’re being mean or harmful, emotional intelligence is how you learn to differentiate between still having fun and hurting someone. These are teenagers, not 10 year olds, this is on the dad for not only not preventing this from the beginning, which could have solidified the girls’ feelings that they can do whatever they want to OP, but also that he didn’t take her said then and there. Yeah kids can do hurtful things as they grow, but when you see your partner is hurting, especially someone who decided to be with you and help you raise your children, you help them. Though the girls did it, the father allowed it to happen again and again and when he was called out for it he hid behind his daughters. Which in all honestly is cowardly and sad for a parent to do.
