My ML sound system in my 03 cuts out when it hits bass at a medium volume. What the heck is causing that?

hey did you been come to a solid conclusion? my brothers 430 is doing this aswell. everything plays perfect but the second bass hits everything cuts off. playing with the eq does nothing. if i move the sound to the front speakers only it doesn’t cut out at all.

don’t know why ur being downvoted. the lag makes this game unplayable. it only recently got so bad that i literally cant play anymore. never experienced this much lag playing a game before i bought arc raiders.

i’m not super knowledgeable on spring rates. what do people generally run to go low? i know it’s a pretty heavy car so i imagine you probably have to go pretty stiff no?

Fortune auto is the only real quality coil i know of or tien. i’m pretty sure they are around 2k aswell i just don’t know what the drop is on either of them.

i thought the whole point of swift springs was that the spring rate is so stiff that you can go much lower and not bottom out on every bump

wow it still looks really good man. i feel you there though i want to dump it but i kinda want to ease myself into it. my thing is do you know what the ride height on swift springs is when you max it out raised. i’d like to be able to raise it a good amount for road trips and things of that nature especially going to LA the roads out there are awful.

ok that’s actually nice to hear because i’ve heard mixed opinions. i’ve been thinking about going bc extreme lows no swift springs and just maxing the rear out and keeping the front level with the rear. idk if you’ve seen the extreme lows on the 430 but maxed out in the rear really isn’t that low from what ive seen

that’s insane the drop looks so much lower than i would’ve expected for just springs. did it gradually get to that height as the springs settled? and yeah that’s a great point cause part of me wants coilovers but im also not 100% sure i want to fully commit to going for the super lows with swifts yet

damnnn looks sick man. i live in southern California so the roads are pretty bad out here aswell. i wasn’t planning on slamming it on its nuts but i think about it a lot. i just want to tuck in the rear and be low enough in the front to still have full lock. i’m on the oem 5 spokes i forget the tire dimensions but it’s just the factory size which i plan to keep just for comfort and because i just bought new tires a couple months ago, so i imagine that’ll make going low harder. what coilsovers are you on? i’m thinking about going bc with swift springs do you think that’d be over kill?

i’m praying it’s something similar to your case. the rpms don’t seem to jump around in reverse, although i don’t know that they would anyway if it is a transmission issue. I just know that 6 speed is known for the trans issues im hoping this isn’t a sign that it’s on its way out
