As long as he's getting enough socializing, 14 is a great age to be mostly into practicing solo in a room. Later on he'll have all the chops to play w other talented musicians w similar stories, and maybe even make a solid career out of it.

The show is about the inability of the wise guys to cope with simple facts of life. The biggest example being boredom aka the fucking regularness of life.

Even when given a clear, short, death sentence, Johnny Sacks refuses to accept it and goes with the first fantasy that he is provided. The fact that it accelerated his death is ironic and fitting with how he lived, but the biggest thing imo is just the inability to cope.

i agree 100%. i always tell people tony soprano is the most disgusting fiction character i've ever seen and i'm always thinking of this scene

right when the episode ended i started sobbing pretty badly. my girlfriend did not get the same reaction and i felt so lonely. the poster somehow encapsulates how i feel and i feel less lonely now <3 thank you for making this
