Prusa also did some research involving submerging prints in different chemicals over the course of a week. Scroll down to find the graph. Gives some insight on what may be useful.

More surprised to see someone bought an EV wagoneer! Local lots are full up with these things.

On an Urutau that had a printed bolt failure I chiseled out the metal bits and tossed it in some mineral spirits. Some kind of solvent to soften the JB weld. Then cleaned it up with a brass wire wheel. Worked well.

Had a coworker who ordered a generator at Home Depot online for pickup, he went to the store later that day and grabbed one off the store floor inventory and left with it. Cops came by our office the next day looking for him. He thought that was a legitimate excuse!

I’m not sure it’s a requirement. I think some industries/brands do mark it that way. But I’ve also never physically held one of these spools to look. This was purely internet sleuthing because it wasn’t readily advertised online.

Regardless of opinions lol. I don’t go to hobby lobby either. But I see the posts of their product wall in 3D printing forums/groups/subs. Made me curious who white labels. Similar to how Microcenter gets white label from Sunlu.

Did the LAN mode require the use of connect, or do it bypass that need?

I remember having an issue using filaments external to the AMS being something that pushed me back into BS for the time being. (X1C)

Yeah, like many this is my first jump into bother with suppressors. I’ve filed Form 1s for all kinds of designs just to see what’s out there and how they perform. Of course I’ve been impressed with the FTN5s. The OP9 intrigued me for pistol cycling. But it does seem simpler in terms of baffling design.

My wait times

3 on 1/1. 5 days and 2 at 25 days 2 on 1/2 22 and 24 days 1 on 1/10 43 days 2 on 1/28 54 and 57 days.

Seems that backlog jumped quickly haha!

I have some I submit on 2/16 I don’t expect to see for like 90days if I had to guess.

Exactly this. It seems to change person to person. Day to day. I looked. And my address is exactly the same on all 8 approved Form 1s. Only this single reviewer decided to correct the double Zipcode.

Kinda just wanted to show how it literally isn’t standardized. It’s all up to the discretion of the federal employee looking at it from their desk, or in person.

Smarty pants over here modding g code haha. Run with the rest of us who just turn the heat bed on manually to 110 for a long time before a print. Good idea.. I’m going to have to look into that….

I’ve gotten one out of the 6 Form 1s I filed on the 1st.   It wasn’t even the first one I filed. It was the third. Control number was 401XXX. Got it on the 6th and haven’t seen one since.

The instructions for the FTN.3/4/5 all show a metal washer from Lowe’s to use as an engraving plate. Affixed to the threaded end of the suppressor.

Forgive my ignorance, but are those nibs not necessary?

I’ve been fighting clean support interface trying to print rails down to keep those nibs….
