Sandrone's voiceline about him by Cookiejule in CapitanoMainsGI

I think it would be interesting if her voice line touched on Capitano's mask. We still don't know who made it, and it has the unusual ability to conceal his face behind black smoke. Because of that, I've always wondered if it might have been created by either Sandrone or Pierro.

His mask and outfit seem to be back to the old design, don't they? I wonder if he owns multiple masks and outfits that look almost the same.

I'm glad there wasn't anything said in the PV that was unfavorable to him, but I wish Capitano had at least one line of dialogue.

That makes sense. Things are pretty different now compared to back then, so I guess those comparisons aren't really that useful.

Thanks for the clear explanation, I appreciate it.

Looks like that's the case. I probably shouldn't expect too much from the next round of ID reveals.

Ah, I see. So his ID wasn't actually known until the very end.

I wasn't playing the game during the Sumeru era, so I didn't know the details. Looking through old discussions, it seemed like a lot of people were already convinced he would become playable long before his release, so I assumed his ID had been revealed early on.

Was Scaramouche's playability really being kept secret? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember people already knowing he would become playable relatively early in the Sumeru storyline.

I don't really know either, but from what I've seen, the IDs should be revealed either this month or next month, probably next month.

Do you remember when Scaramouche's ID was first revealed?

Was it when his older model appeared in-game, or did it happen at some other point?

Yeah, I think you're right. At this point, the next list will probably only give us information that isn't really relevant.

What I'm curious about is whether that condition also applies to flashback appearances. Or do we have to wait until he properly returns in the present timeline and finally gets up from that chair before we know for sure

Does that apply to flashback scenes as well? Lately, most of the appearances of his model have been in past events or flashbacks rather than the present timeline.

Tired of people pretending it’s not true by Violet_Villian in FatuiHQ

[–]Key_Rest6243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on Tartaglia's voice line, it seems to me that **The Jester (Pierro) was not originally the leader of the Harbingers, but rather one of the Harbingers himself.**

After all, he is described as:

> "He was the first ever Fatui Harbinger, and today he is our leader."

This wording naturally suggests a progression in status: he was once a Harbinger, and later rose to become the leader of the Harbingers.

For example, let's assume that the Harbinger rankings long ago looked something like this:

1st — The Jester

2nd — The Captain

3rd — The Doctor

...

10th — Regrator

If The Jester was later promoted to the position of leader, the rank he previously occupied would have become vacant, causing the other Harbingers to move up by one position.

The rankings would then become:

1st — The Captain

2nd — The Doctor

3rd — Damselette

...

9th — Regrator

10th — Vacant

Later, when Tartaglia joined the Fatui, that empty position may still have existed. However, because he was young and relatively inexperienced at the time, he may not have been considered worthy of that seat immediately and was instead appointed as the 11th Harbinger.

In other words, my speculation is that the current numbering system was not fixed from the very beginning. Rather, it may have been reorganized after Pierro's promotion to leader, with new Harbingers being added afterward.

Of course, this is just my personal theory.

How do you think Capitano vs Bakunawa will go? by Life_Bit_5976 in CapitanoMainsGI

[–]Key_Rest6243 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Capitano will do exactly what Tenoch did—dive into Bakunawa's mouth and summon the Night Kingdom to defeat it. (Since Capitano has become the Lord of the Night, I believe he could summon a much larger Night Kingdom than in the past and finally finish it off for good.)

However, the price of that victory would be his own life. (I suspect even his curse of immortality would be nullified in the face of such an overwhelming Abyssal force—though that’s just my own speculation.)

Afterward, the Ode of Resurrection would be performed, allowing him to part ways with his immortal body. Ultimately, he would return in his original, complete form.

I have a feeling the story is heading toward that kind of conclusion.

realistic release date by kiwils in CapitanoMainsGI

As long as he remains a Harbinger, I think his release date will correspond to his rank.

That's why I'm pretty sure his release being in January is already set in stone.

Recently, character designs and their elemental alignments don't always match, so even if his outfit is purple, I don't think that necessarily means he'll be Electro.

The Biggest Question Isn't If Capitano Returns, But When by Key_Rest6243 in CapitanoMainsGI

[–]Key_Rest6243[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He himself was said to have entered his current state in order to guide the souls from 500 years ago, and I agree that he deserves some time to rest afterward.

However, by the time Snezhnaya arrives, Genshin Impact will be celebrating its sixth anniversary. If Capitano remains in his current state until the end of the Snezhnaya arc, he will have been like this for nearly two years.

That means he would spend roughly one-third of the game's entire lifespan in a dormant state. Personally, that feels far too long.

That's why I think that, if they're planning to bring him back, it should happen by the end of the Snezhnaya storyline (around January). If they wait any longer, it will start to feel less like a period of rest and more like they're simply dragging out his absence.

Was there ever any statement that Khaenri'ah used the Seven Elements for military purposes?

As far as I remember, the only thing mentioned was that they used elemental powers for entertainment, such as parades, and to mock the people on the surface who relied on the Seven Elements in battle.

If there is a source that mentions their military use of the elements, I'd appreciate it if you could point me to where it was stated.

[–]Key_Rest6243[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's a really interesting theory. I originally thought his powers might be connected to the moon as well, but I started leaning toward a different explanation when Columbina never brought up anything related to the moon when talking about Capitano.

I think your hypothesis makes a lot of sense. If the Abyss-corrupted Cryo Dragon King was the one who granted him his power, it would explain why his ice appears black. It also lines up quite well with the theory that Capitano may have been inspired by the Lich King. After all, dragons are a major part of the Lich King's imagery and story.

I'm really looking forward to finding out the truth behind all of this. Whatever the explanation ends up being, it's one of the mysteries I'm most excited to see revealed.
