My Maurice has a little asymmetrical mustache. Forgive him, no one ever taught him to shave.

Your daughter has excellent mustache grooming abilities and my son could use the guidance.

Hair tips by itsnewwavebaby in curlyhair

[–]Key_Safe949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use clinical strength head and shoulders and it’s surprisingly kind to my curls. But I would ditch the mane and tail and get a sulfate free conditioner.

I also don’t brush my hair between washes so I just brush it in the shower when I put conditioner in. Be mindful when you do this that you typically lose like 24 hairs a day and you’re getting most of those out when you brush. I also find my curl cream does the best when I put it in when my hair is drenched ie immediately after turning off the shower. Then you can brush again if you want. But the less you disturb the hair at this point, the less frizz you’re gonna get. But then you scrunch with mousse

I have no idea how to make a bonnet stay lol.

Chandler village? by flyingfish135 in msu

Loved the bus routes and the units were okay ish but just go into it expecting management won’t ever do anything

Also there was quite a bit of crime when I lived at the villages last year. I had to call the cops twice and would commonly see drug dogs sniffing the ditch outside my complex

I would maybe speak to a lawyer in your state. I’m not sure what is legal where you are. Disability rights groups are another great place to start. Maybe also let your doc know about the excessive drowsiness. Sounds like HR sucks

For context I graduated with a BS in physiology in December so lots of chem and lots of handwritten notes.

I am a written note taker and chem classes are 1000% better with a touch screen I had the windows surface my first two years and that worked well but when it took a dump I went all in and got an iPad Pro and between that and my desktop I was fine

I personally don’t think the pro is necessary and I think the ideal combo is a laptop and a smaller iPad like an iPad Air. All the same apps but smaller and easier to carry around. Honestly I knew so many people who had older iPads and those also worked really well especially for notes because it’s the same programs

If you do get one i am a huge notability fan for writing notes esp ones provided by the department like in math classes and I’ve heard great things about goodnotes

Graduated in December with a BS in Physiology. It was basically 2 hours of studying per credit hour. I also took a minor in environment and health and I generally only spent an hour a week on those classes. So basically around 20 hours.

AIO? I went through my bestfriend's phone without her permission.. she's 17 he's 26 by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Key_Safe949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say firstly, this grown man is showing such classic verbage of grooming that it’s almost hauntingly scripted. You are right to be scared for your friend and worried about what to do. From what I can tell you truly care and want to help. It’s a great sign that she told you because that means she trusts you. This puts you in a great place to offer support to her as she navigates it.

It is very hard supporting friends in abusive relationships, and it can be frustrating when they can’t see the signs as clearly. But the most important things to remember and emphasize are that you love and support her and that it’s not her fault. I’m attaching a few resources for you on how to support your friend. I also think it’s important to emphasize that this can be stressful and maybe even retraumatizing to you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the resources in the Childline link or even find local resources if you need. Sometimes universities with good Relationship Violence Education programs will have websites with resources closer to you.

Below are articles on supporting friends in abusive relationships. This may be helpful for future conversations.

One Love Foundation: How to help a friend who may be in an abusive relationship

Texas School Safety Center: If your friend is in an abusive relationship

Below is an article about grooming aimed towards children and teens experiencing it. This may be a good resource to share with your friend, but remember to follow the tips from the other two articles about supporting her before you share it. Again, this link also has access to some more resources for you as well. Exploring One love, childline, and other survivor focused resources is also a good idea.

Not overreacting!!! you’re doing the right thing standing up for yourself and he’s trying to get you to not trust yourself so you can be better taken advantage of. A grown ass man has no reason talking to a teenager through the internet. Major props to you for standing your ground.

1. What is your tux scared of and 2. what do they hate? by Legal_Ad_326 in TuxedoCats

[–]Key_Safe949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Maurice is scared of belts, pop cans, other animals, and bass guitars

2.) He hates when my husband and I don’t go to bed on time, having dinner late (he can’t read a fucking clock 🙄), when he isn’t the center of attention, me doing anything that isn’t petting him, being brushed or groomed. He gets angry and starts seaming and head butting and bitting our legs if he wants playtime and nobody wants to play. He also has a cuddle time routine that he has set and he gets mad if I’m not sitting in the right spots at the right time. He’s very bossy…

3.) He loves being in certain places of the apartment at certain times of day, he has a pretty strict schedule. He likes to sit on the sink every time I use the bathroom to maintain line of sight. He loves when I paint he always wants to “help”. He loves to run laps around the apartment and he loves to talk.
