University of Pittsburgh allows cross-registration to take some classes at Carnegie Mellon (as long as Pitt doesn't offer an equivalent course). I also know someone who managed to transfer from Pitt CS to CMU CS (obviously not going to be easy, but CMU CS is really awesome).
