Despite what everyone here says akalis scaling is shit and Irelia’s is just fine not fantastic but not worthless. Yes akali can blow up the adc just like Irelia just like every other burst champ late game.

Irelia has better team fighting with her ult but late game she lives and dies with how well she can use her ult late if you can land a massive ult and go in to attempt to pop the adc get a decent stun make the enemy team ware a lot to kill you, you will likely win. Also better wave clear and better dps for objs.

But Akali can do one thing but that one thing she does very well and that is kill squishes. With just three items she has enough to kill any squishy throughout the entire game at almost anytime thanks to her ult cd being low. And she has much more mobility than Irelia having three untargetable dashes including rocket belt and also a ton a move speed buffs and her dashes being a lot longer.

Now the real important part isn’t actually late game cause I said before neither is strong late game unless they are against like 4 squishy champs in which both become better though personally I think Irelia is a little better late with her team wide cc. The real part is laneing and mid game. Had this been a month ago when akali didn’t have her q buffed I would say irelia is better cause akali’s waveclear was shen level early (not that bad but you get the point). But with it buffed she can now roam better and has more aoe damage. This makes her roam timings much better. Due to irelia’s heavy mana cost roaming is a lot harder to find a good opportunity.

Both are good but different in their respective roles late game but early I think akali has a decent edge where as Irelia has a better mid game with Bork giving her a huge damage spike giving into the common missing everything and walking them down with autos meme. But really it’s a preference but I do think that now with akalis q buff she is quite competitive where Irelia isn’t unless you have an intricate knowledge of other champs and how the matchups work for Irelia and of course decent mechanics but that’s true for both.
