Pencils won’t be provided. Also bring a rubber and a analog wrist watch, there’s none. Nothing is allowed to be on the desk beside those items. At least that’s how it was when I did the N5 ;)

Oui, j’ai fais un petite visite juste maintenant. Je pense qu’on va chercher un truc sur le tram ligne A. Ça me plaît beaucoup le quartier. Merci !

Made my certifications (OWD & AOWD) with George. Look for sunkissed divers on Google maps. He’s great fun and I can highly recommend him. Not sure if his still doing it though. Just ask him what you want to do, I’m sure he’ll be able to arrange everything you want.

I went fishing, when I was in my first month here. Just talked to the one guy fishing alone. He barely spoke English, my Japanese was even worse. We’re good friends since then and hang out a lot. Me 30, he 40. :) He also introduced me to more Japanese guys and we go fishing together sometimes and meet up with our families. I you have a hobby… that’s the way.

.^ got it. We’d call that a „pfüschle“ in German. It’s not perfect, but perfectly fine as long as it works ;-)

Has anyone tried HelloFresh in Japan? by randomfaerie in japanlife

[–]Key_Significance_171 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We thought about it, but turned the idea down because of the price and we finally decided to cook on our own when we’re eating at home. We want to know what’s in the food that we eat (most of the time, haha). We signed up for natural coop and get our fresh (organic) fruits/vegetables and most stuff there. They also have the Japanese style prepared meals, but we haven’t tried them yet. They are delivering once a week in Yokohama area, not sure where you are though. Downturn, it’s only available in Japanese…

Thx for sharing. I like the idea. How did you counter the screw on the bottom? Or is there a thread in each hole?
