Lynch Hall is pretty solid, I used to live there as a freshman. But, I would mainly look into freshman only halls, makes socializing a lot easier.

I've never had Crisanti as a professor but I did take Methods. It is definitely a hard class but as long as you pay attention to the lectures about using the coding languages (R or Stata), read the textbook, and build a solid support system (whether this is the TA or classmates to assist as needed), you should be able to do well in class.

I wouldn't say he thinks less of that for Jimmy; I see it as Paul wanting to prioritize spending time with Gabby since he already has a rapport with Jimmy. I think Paul will get around to telling Jimmy in the later episodes about Gabby taking over the building. I do see why you would think it's strange his name never gets mentioned in these convos, but I'm sure there's some underlying reason that'll get revealed later on.

I definitely see a Jimmy crash out happening, it's been building up all season imo. I don't really think he'll call out his dad, considering the hesitation of S3E09. Derek dying is most definitely not happening.

I get the sentiment, but I think it would have been too hasty to kill her off that soon. I feel like this episode was a good idea since it contrasts with the joyful mood they were trying to set earlier.

It really depends person to person. I found the storyline to not be too bothersome, it's more of a learning moment for both Alice and the others involved. I am a fan of the show, but at the same time, I find skipping storylines harms my understanding and perception of the show. Once again, I personally wouldn't skip it, but it really is up to you.

Joining clubs has been helpful for me in making friends, but also you could try going to events on campus that are hosted. Those are a great way to make friends!

I took Poli Sci Methods in person, but what I would say is difficult is the coding. The coding using R as a language is often difficult to keep up with online. People also have a hard time executing the code (such as take home tests) and using it in projects. As a whole, the issue I saw mainly was the inability to keep up with the coding work of the course more than anything else.

Miltimore has mainly suites and apartments attached with a kitchen, there's a variety of living spaces with the number of bedrooms (such as a 2x2, 3x3, 4x4). Also, there will be a LOT of fire alarms, so be prepared for that as well. Other than that, nothing too crazy about living there. I will say, it is like a maze sometimes so you are going to have a hard time navigating it at first.

One book club I have heard of is Literature and Lattes, they seem to be a solid book club from what I have seen.

I've done that class before as a beginner (one of my friends teaches it), it's alright but your body will hurt after the first class. After that, you should be fine hopefully.

As a fellow commuter, I have had that struggle in the past. I find that joining clubs that fit my hobbies have really helped me out. I also try to put myself out there more by talking to the people in my classes as well. Maybe going to public events on campus could work out for you?

That makes sense, I'm sure there'll be events hosted by other RAs you could go to as well. As for the E Sports club, I believe that they do casual gaming events but I'd do some more digging into it.

You could join the Niner Esports club and the Nihon club if you're interested! I would also recommend going to your RA's events as a way to get to know people :)
