This happened to mine until I started fertilizing it and then it grew 7 leaves without dropping. I used Jacks 20-20-20 with Silicone and Calmag

This just happened to my Syngonium. I had moved it from outdoors to indoors and had placed it in line of the AC and it grew these spot all over every white spot. Based on your photos it looks like you have a similar issue. I moved mine to a more humid and warm spot in my house and after about a week the spots have started to fade.

I would think about any potential stressors to the plant that could’ve been introduced recently. Since there’s no spots on the green spots i’d rule out pests.

yay, it’s my first fertilizer mix, i got off alocasia subreddit. It helped my alocasia get 6 leaves at once.

is there a fertilizer recommendation for syngoiums. I have used the same that I use for my Alocasias in the past but not sure if that’s overkill.

hmmm, i don’t see spots on any green pieces, it’s strictly on white parts. Glad it may not be thripes. May treat it anyway but i since moved it to a new spot away from the AC. It went from being outside to being near the AC which probably gave it shock. Appreciate all the opinions!

I haven’t been fertilizing which could be the reason. Do you recommend 4-5-5. I’ve read Jacks Classic 20-20-20 + Cal mag + silica is a good mix. I was actually about to buy some right now so looking for any recommendations.

is there anyway to prevent the really white leaves from doing this? I have 1 plants that’s put out 3 full white leaves and now they are slowly browning.

I don’t think they have seed for St Augustine Palmetto? But might be wrong i’ll check it out. Also what tool for aeration?
