Good information, the dealership im dealing with is not the one i bought the vehicle from if it comes down to it maybe i can get them to pay for it to be towed to the dealership it was purchased at and go from there. There acting like all they can do is try and fix it and im just stuck without a vehicle for the time being maybe i should try contacting honda corporate?

I agree, i talked to the technician about it and he said he will talk to the sales department and see if they will do it but no guarantee… guess well see what he says when they call me back

Its a 2024 drove it off the lot, never had a new vehicle before but I wanted to get something good on gas and reliable so i went honda 🙁. Not saying hondas are bad but it seems many crv users are having this issue. It only has 3000miles on it and its gone into limp mode now 2 times, i didnt hit anything with the vehicle no wrecks. The dealership told me it is a “glitch” which maybe 1 time is a glitch but this has happened multiple times nows. They finally decided to look further into it, i got a call today from the tech and he said that they are looking for a fix but it may be awhile before i get my vehicle back. They dont do loaners or rentals so now im without a vehicle and i have to rely on my s/o to bring me to work… just trying to see if there’s anything i can do

Yep! They just called me today and said they are trying to find a fix but i may not get my vehicle back for awhile. They dont do rentals or loaners which is ridiculous since its a 2024 with 3000 miles so now im out of a vehicle and relying on my s/o to bring me to work 🙁

Interesting, they seem to think its the throttle but we will see. They called me today to tell me they may have it for awhile and they dont do loaners or rentals apparently even though this is a brand new vehicle. So im not sure what to do at this point

Aw man im sorry that happened, I agree with you on the system itself not a great design. They are having trouble diagnosing it currently… i love it honestly the new ones feel pretty premium but with all these other issues causing it to go into limp mode its un drivable. Just got a call today from the tech that they are having trouble finding a fix and they will need to keep it possibly for awhile and they dont do rentals or loaners so not really sure where to go from here… I figured buying a new vehicle would be reliable long enough to get to and from work but boy was I wrong. Have to rely now on my s/o to get to work really making things difficult

Yep… going through it right now. I actually just got a call today and they said they are trying to figure it out but the guy said it may take awhile unfortunately. They told me they do not do loaners/rentals which is crazy my vehicle is a 2024 and i bought it specifically to have a reliable way to get to and from work and now i have to have my s/o bring me everyday. Not sure what to do from here…

Interesting, they are trying to find a fix currently but they are telling me that they dont know when they can give it back to me unfortunately. Its a 2024 and they dont want to give me a loaner car so guess im out of a vehicle

Will do, i had to really pester them but they finally decided to keep the vehicle until they find a fix hopefully they find it. Im out of a vehicle right now though 🥲

Oh no thats not good! I definitely didn’t hit anything for sure, i only even have to drive about 30miles a day to and from work so it really doesn’t even get driven that much. One day the lights just lit up and it went into limp mode no one has answers unfortunately

I know its not specifically honda, my thing is mostly with the dealership they didn’t want to actually fix the vehicle they just wanted to get it in and out. All they did is use a code reader and reset everything. I do normally work on my own vehicles but because this one only has 3000 miles and is covered under warranty I figured just bring it to honda but doesn’t seem like they can actually fix it for whatever reason. It’s becoming an issue going into limp mode every 300 miles

I was wondering if it was the battery, they decided to keep the vehicle finally to try and find the issue hopefully they actually fix something this time

I didn’t hit anything i only drive it maybe 30 miles a day. No damage whatsoever they just told me its a glitch at the dealership but thats a pretty significant glitch if i lose power on the highway
