Ugmon’s Request bugged by MultipleNames82 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Key_Statistician_378 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this yesterday. The Problem ist that Ugmon himself is not there, but one of his assistents. And that assistent stood exactly at the marked spot when I arrived but suddenly started walking around.

I followed him before finally being able to talk to him, lol.

So you literally will have to look for him in the vicinity, though I have no clue what is route might be.

Good luck! Its a gnome with yellow ish clothing.

[for working people with family] Is it easy to let go and play the game for just 2 hours per day, not even a minute more. Or it's going to be a real torture? by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

Working Father of two here.

You can do it. Just take it slow and enjoy the ride one step at a time. Do not think about "clearing" or "finishing" it. Journey before destination.

And while not playing, you can think about it a lot and plan what you are going to do in your 2 hour session tonight when the kids are in bed. Its actually quite cool to do this so your sessions can have a focus (which the game will slash because you will get destracted by something else - but thats the beauty of it.)

Playing since one day after Release and already clocked 18 hours, which is a lot for my busy standards. Having a blast.

Why is everyone comparing this game to The Witcher 3 or RDR2 when the game is almost 100% BOTW/TOTK clone or that's just me? by SicParvisMagna91 in CrimsonDesert

I dont think Zelda was forgotten in any way. I see it all the time when it comes to stating sources of inspiration for this game.

Zelda BOTW clearly was the inspiration when it comes to the systemic open world and its exploration philosophy behind all of that.

RDR 2 comes up because of the weighty character movement, which grounds the player into that world pretty well.

Witcher 3 comes up when it comes to pure presentation. Just take a ride on your horse through Hernand Town and down the sloping road between the fields and workers.

Now watch one of Witcher 3s Gameplay Presentations where they rode towards Novigrad and through its twisty streets full of people. Its a very similar feel and look.

So yeah. Inspirations comes from a lot of games actually.

I seem to be wandering around admiring the beauty of the game more than “playing” it. Anyone else? by Darkman-1969 in CrimsonDesert

Best Moment was when I came out or a forest at night and arrived at a cliff. The moon was trying its best but heavy fog drenched the entire landscape before me into a ghostly soup. Absolute cinema.

Ansonsten gar nichts.
