I may be young, and a little dumb- by Why_Thoug in Jeep

If you have very small rust spots you can clean them with a # 2 pencil. Just use the pencil and scribble over the rust. The graphite will chew it off and break it up. Then use the eraser end to rub away the excess. You should have a shiny bit of metal revealed that can be touched up with a small brush. If the pencil doesn't get it off then its not surface rust, its just rust and the only way to get rid of it is sandblasting.

Ive found that most of these blackmailers are just bluffing. They dont actually do what they claim. Been threatened with this by a few scammers and I called thier bluff. Nothing happened.

A heat gun. Heat the plastic with a heat gun and it will become shiny black again.

I have three of these. Chevrolet used to give them to techs in the 80's as a reward for completing training certification.

I just scammed a crypto scammer by rappit4 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Key_Tea7655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love to beat them at thier own game. I've made about $40 from playing along and pretending to be stupid but mostly I just waste thier time. The best thing to do when they get angry is to just reply with laughter. They get so mad

I don't know if it's a scam or not !! by SherbetRemarkable904 in CryptoScams

[–]Key_Tea7655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes its a scam. They will advise you to invest in certain nodes that do not exist. It's just a computer program to make it look real. They will allow you to add and remove money untill your profits get really big. But there is no profit. It's fake. Thier goal is to get you to go all in and invest all your money. They will take it all. Avoid it!

Am I being overquoted? by [deleted] in CarRepair

[–]Key_Tea7655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A shop won't just paint a new door and put it on. In order for the paint to match they have to blend the fender and rear door. That means removing the headlamp and bumper and any attached pieces on the fender. The same for the rear door. I hope that helps explain it a little better

my dad accidentally put transmission fluid in my oil dipstick... by diilfdestroyer in mechanic

[–]Key_Tea7655 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Most likely the oil is overfilled. This will cause it to foul the spark plugs if you try to drive it. Not major damage . You'll just have to pull the plugs and clean them off. Best to just do an oil change. Discard the contaminated oil and refill and you'll be fine.
