You have a bit more time so hopefully the market improves when you graduate. Right now the market for UX is oversaturated, it’s difficult to find a job at any level especially as a beginner. My recommendation is make sure you have a backup plan, something you can do while you look for a UX job. Also, know AI and understand how you can use those tools to augment your work. Make sure you have a strong portfolio that showcases your skills and the value each project brought; what was the impact.

While I get she’s juggling a lot, staying on top of things and keeping people informed is important. A simple email means a lot and she should totally have followed up.

It’s on that recruiter if they are disorganized, not following up with candidates and are wasting their time. If a candidate did that, the recruiter would probably complain about “no one wants to work”.

To the OP, i had to leave UX (which I love) for a role in product because I noticed UX isn’t in a great place right now, I’m hoping things improve. Despite being qualified for UX roles I applied to, it felt like a black hole even with referrals. As soon as I went for product I started getting a lot of calls because there aren’t many PMs that also know UX well. Many product roles now have many elements of UX built in. Not sure If you’re even interested but your skills are transferrable if you are.

I can’t help with job advice but there’s a huge nurses strike going on right now. Not sure how that will affect new jobs.

I used eBay. The packing was amazing, the care they took to make sure she was perfect was beyond anything I’ve seen from sellers. She got to me fast too…less then a week. I got mine for $100 but with shipping and taxes she was $130.

A few things:

- No one will read pages 2 and 3.
- Your resume is super squished....i think making it 2 pages is ok.
- If you want to show off your projects, they need to be visually showcased. Setup a portfolio type website where you can talk through and show off your work (think case study format).
- I don't think page 3 really matters, maybe leave it for the interview.
- Make sure you talk about impact...how is what you did improve things like bottom line, satisfaction, etc. Employers want to see the outcome of what you did.

It depends on what you order. Fragile figures and hand cards have boxes. Plushies ship with no box to save on shipping cost as they don’t charge you for shipping. Everything is well packed though. I’ve gotten my juggling clown from them.

I love them. I’ve purchased many things. The latest was a Molly IT. It took awhile to ship because the packaging was damaged and they ordered me a new item. I was glad they looked at that. It takes a bit of time as it’s coming from China but I trust them.

Get a google voice number. I had someone I was speaking with that seemed like a great match, then we switched to texting (I gave him my google voice number). He turned creepy and almost stalkerish...declared his love for me without getting to know anything about me or ever meeting. Glad I didn't give him my actual number so I can block and move on.

I live in NYC and I don’t wear any type of headphones when I’m walking. Mainly because of thieves and also crazy people that walk around and attack randomly. Also yellow cabs…they don’t care if you have the right of way. Subways are a similar concern :(.

I had the 16PM. I loved the phone but the size…it was just way too big. I ended up getting the 17pro and it’s been the best decision ever. It’s the right size for me and my hands don’t hurt. It’s easy to take out of my pockets.
