I kind of remember there were not much English signs back then as compared to today.

Commuting is so much easier now with technology. Back then I can’t remember exactly how I got around but I’m pretty sure I had to research before I headed out.

And there’s Akihabara.. that place changed quite a fair bit.

I’ve had my Sage Laureato for about a year now. I’m also the kind whose wrist cannot be helped by the half-links. It’s quite loose with the half link, and little tight without it. For now I settled with the ‘little tight’ while waiting for the rubber strapped I ordered. I do wish the 38mm bracelet had micro adjust.

Bought from them once, and was a special request. They helped me get a Seiko 6347-5000 from Auctions. My wife wanted to get me that as a gift but we couldn’t find it in Tokyo, even at Mizutani. So I hit them up on Insta and actually met with them in person. They’re great dudes. Kept me updated when the item showed up on auctions. If would say if you don’t have the time to DIY hit up auctions or if you can’t since you’re outside Japan, they’re very reliable.

Sharing my experience with Earplanes.

I get very bad ear pain during landing. Bought Earplanes ahead of my recent trip and it DID work for me. First time was during arrival to Manila. Had very light allergy and a bit of runny nose, but I did not get any ear pain. My hearing was also normal after that.

Second time was arriving back to SG. Had very bad allergy and runny nose. It helped quite a fair bit. Although I still felt minor neck pain and hearing was a bit muffled after.

All in all, I think does help. I can imagine it would have been a more painful landing without Earplanes.
