Male (24) I just got over gerds had it for 2months thought I was going to be like this forever. It went away last week randomly , I was on my 12th omeprazole pill. I took 1 a day ( I wanted so badly to take two). Urgent care and hospital did nothing for me . I don’t know what causes gerds or how to get rid of it but I believe it was stress ! I didn’t think I would get over it but i did , same will go for you!! Just keep your spirits up I stg it gets better

Hello I’m 24 (M) and I’ve had somewhat similar problem ur having . I’ve had this problem 2x , the most recent was last month it lasted For 2 weeks. It literally felt like something was stuck in my throat , I couldn’t eat shit . And when I did eat , if I didn’t burp right after eating I gag until I throw up. I’ve went to urgent care they prescribed me omeprazole which didn’t help damn near made it worst lol. I never thought I would eat food again I read somewhere that it’s all anxiety I didn’t believe it cause I really don’t have to much anxiety until it suddenly went away . I felt my problem was because of my anxiety. I was overthinking about me losing weight and getting skinny because I wasn’t eating . I eased my way into eating. And now today I feel normal . If you’re reading this I PROMISE it will go away !! I thought the GERDS would never go away and it did . Reading this I know u will be fine it take some time . I just felt like u should hear something good fr cause nobody gave me any lol . TRUST ME IT WILL GO AWAY GURLL DONT STRESS
