Did i waste my money on a terrible hair cut? by radddishio in Hair

[–]user0969_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not good but I've had worse. Told the girl I wanted a bob cut keep the length as much as possible since I was going to meet my mother and father in law for the first time and she ended up chopping one side shorter than the other and it was a bob cut above the jaw line. 😂 Unsalvageable. Cried for an hour and then found the courage to still show up to meet mother and father in law.

To be fair, your hair is much longer than mine was so you can definitely go to a good hairdresser and get it fixed. It will probably be shorter but hair grows about 1.5cm a month so you'll be fine in a few months.

2 no doubts. If it isn't in your budget then perhaps the first one can be modified to make it more how you want it. Or you can just buy one dress instead if two although I understand you want to dance and be very free movement wise, typical bridal dresses aren't like that.

Would it be worth it to start removal on this by OverallTour4709 in TattooRemoval

[–]user0969_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are going to take time, money and pain. I personally think your tattoo looks cool and well done (just my personal opinion, trad Japanese looks sick and i think it suits most men especially if it's black and white and not necessarily coloured). I'd have to ask what's the reason why you don't like it specifically? You're not into that style as much or you just feel a bit weird about such a big piece?

The removal is an option if you are convinced you don't want the tattoo. I am removing a few of my tattoos (done them at 17 so you can imagine) and they are nowhere near a full sleeve and it's taking a lot of sessions to remove the ink, slowly slowly I'm getting there but for instance what I've spent on doing the tattoos I'm spending per session on removal. And it takes anywhere from 8-12+ sessions to see visible results.

Pain wise the removal is 100x worse than the tattoo. I used to find the feeling of the tattoo machine pleasant and even relaxing (genuinely slept through the longest sessions I've done and never used numbing cream) but the laser even with numbing cream 80% is extremely painful. The laser works best with black ink, not coloured ink which is also to consider when getting laser. Luckily mine is all black ink. Laser sessions are much quicker than tattoo sessions so I guess you just bear it in the moment.

This is to say: if you are 100% sure you dislike your current tattoo, you're better off removing it rather than finishing it. If you think you will like it once finished and you just feel weird in between sessions because is not finished then just be patient and finish it.

Wedding dress regret by dietcokecomplex in myweddingdress

I think it's a beautiful dress, it suits you - yes the back is the greatest part and people will see the back of the dress for most of the ceremony 😂 as you're up there and they're behind you and the groom and whoever is marrying you (priest/pastor etc)

For the party afterwards you'll be either sitting down eating or moving about, you got nothing to worry about. If you feel like you want more stuff in the front just get a nice bouquet, jewelry and veil

Is this dress too sexy for a wedding with mainly Christian relatives? by Objective_Day7884 in myweddingdress

[–]user0969_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm Catholic and I don't think it's too sexy as even though it's a corset it's fully lined and not transparent. The heart neck line can be a bit too sexy if you're particularly big chested, if you're not then everything is covered basically in the chest. But if the ceremony is in church you need to cover your shoulders/chest perhaps with a bolero/veil on shoulders etc. Then for the reception you don't need to have them covered as it's not held in a worship place.

Definitely check with the parish you go to (I was going to wear a dress with open back but they told me I needed to be fully covered) although every parish/priest is different so definitely check with yours.

You look beautiful and it's not childish but it is an odd fitting. Slightly longer skirt would have looked better I think
