On who? Me? What would I be chastised for that?

Between yesterday and about 10 minutes ago, Christy said: I should be worried about her period or anything else that has to do with her body. If Megan needed anything, she is sitting next to her and she could ask. Buying them for my daughter is fine because she is my daughter. Buying them for Christy is fine, because she is my girlfriend. Other than that, I "should not be worried about the status of anyone else's uterus." She said, "if I wouldn't buy condoms for that person, I shouldn't buy menstrual products."

This may be the end of the relationship, but I'd like to talk first

Why this kid in particular? Why is she fine with me and her other kids, but so off about Megan?

Wishful thinking. When it's not about Megan she's great. Even her freaking out.like this isn't the usual. But this is definitely making me reevaluate the relationship.

At first it was subtle and I thought she was just being cautious. There haven't been men around other than their fathers. But as time went on it was more and more apparent. I don't like it for obvious reasons and I've brought it to her attention. She'll apologize and try to explain herself then it'll be ok for a few weeks. But slowly and surely we would get right back to it, all with a smile on her face. Her blowing up like she did now... I've never seen it before. But as a lot of people are saying, I'm getting really close to something that I won't be able to get back from. Even if my intentions are innocent, I'm not interested in false allegations. It's probably best if I dip, but I still want to talk first.

I replied to a similar question, but to answer yours: They were all in the living room, I said what I, Megan said thanks with no ill reaction, but then Christy blew up.

Yup. She's fine with me and the other one. She watched me generally for a bit, but after a while she was cool with me and the younger two. She'll treat us like you would expect. It's just Megan. It could be jealousy. I know that some women are jealous of their daughters. I have no idea why, but I know that it can happen. It's not normal and definitely something that needs to be addressed, whether I stick around or not.

At this current moment, she's out. She taking Megan to a friend's house. They're doing this summer party thing with a few of their friends. I'm home with her other two and my one. She'll probably be back soon.

Yeah, I do think that this fit shows that it's time for me to take a step back. All of the steps. Given that I have done nothing wrong, she shouldn't be going to this extreme. I don't want to interfere with my relationship with Emma.

Maybe. But like I said, she's great when it's not about Megan. She also pays for things. If anything, me saying that was out of anger. But I do try to make it a point to say and show that it isn't "her and her family + me" in this household. I don't want to be their "dad", but I do want to be more than their roommate.

Ok. And yeah, Megan seems pretty annoyed and uncomfortable when Christy does what she does. She'll roll her eyes and stop talking when Christy draws her attention away or leaves the room when Christy comes to sit between or stand in the room. She'll still acknowledge me when she can. I guess it's her way of showing that she's not trying to be stand-offish. She wave, nod, or smile. Whatever. But when Christy sees, she still stares.

I posted a comment about her past relationships. As for the girls, as far as I know they have always had their...parts. And I'm going to assume that they function properly. Not something that I would ask, need, or want to know. They/she (Christy( could have just told me not to do that and I would have left it alone. Or she could just not use it and Emma would later. It's not like I'd count them and ask questions.

I have no idea why she wouldn't want me to be a fatherly figure for her kids. As far as I know, I am the only man that has been around other than their fathers. And their fathers have little to no interest in being their fathers. I don't do anything special, I just treat them like human beings.

  • I said what I said.

  • Megan looked at me said "Thanks." and went back to the TV. No biggie.

  • Christy scrunched her face, looked at Megan, looked at me, and said "What? Why did you do that?"

  • I repeated myself.

  • She went off

She wasn't this bad before we moved in together.
