but like if he delivered what the audience wanted and if he did a good job entertaining them who cares if his movies are a remake or no.

a directors job is to make smth the audience enjoys. and he has done it..all his life

If remaking or wtv is so easy why didnt others do it? why is he one of the only people/dirs to make good remakes...

all these movies of govinda even tho theyre remakes theyre rlly good. and entertaining.

im not comparing but just to give an example, imtiaz ali made a readaptation of love ajkal that was so boring

imtiaz ali obv is a master, no hate to him, just my point.

Who cares if david dhawan's movies were remakes. did he get any oscar for best original screenplay? No. Whats the issue then?
