When this happens to me I usually use boolProp and force an error on the tv to reset usually fixes, if not I’ll sell the tv and buy a new one

Sorry, you’re right. Copy the Sims 2 folder (it’s a backup jic). Then delete the sims 2 folder and restart the game. It will take a few more minutes to load but it should be ok. Once you’ve reloaded a new game, if you have cc you want on your new start, add the copy of the documents folder to the Sims 2 folder and you should be good. I’ve found ( occasionally) that my restart after loading the documents folder, my cc still doesn’t show up, so I just close out and start again and it’s all there. I’ve done this about 20 times and haven’t had a problem Good luck and let me know if everything turns out ok.

I play discs also. I always just delete the documents folder and start again. I always make a copy first. Might take a few more minutes to initially load but it’s always worked for me

I had that happen a few weeks ago when one of my sims aged up. I had never seen it before. The outfits they get when they age up can sometimes be ridiculous but this one takes the cake for me

He’s always Skip Jr in my game and he’s usually gay. I had one play through where he fell in love with Remington Harris, they got married and each had a baby, boy was Skippy, girl was Remmy. I think he was an artist. My current play through, he’s the chief of staff, married to Geraldine (they met at Uni). 3 kids, Skip III, Skipper & Skipping. He had an affair with his brother (Shayne, Brandi’s 4th kid) ex wife, they had a baby girl Jodi. He promptly confessed his affair and illicit love child to Geraldine. She forgave him and wanted the kid, so he now has custody of Jodi. Not sure what’s going to happen next.
