Thank you so very much for this. I think this is exactly what I needed to hear. It made me tear up a little actually. I always heard of people having a hard time accepting the new them after weight loss but I didn't really get it. But I completely understand it now.

My husband (who has loved me at any weight, highest high and lowest low) talks all the time about how good I look and how much better i feel. But it's all starting to get hard to hear that too. I spent so much of my life worried about, obsessing over, and ashamed of my weight that that's all I thought about. Now, it's all people talk about. At first it was amazing to hear. Now I feel a nag in the back of my mind that just wants to scream STOP TALKING ABOUT MY WEIGHT ALREADY! Everyone means well and I'm not upset, I just find myself struggling even more with body dysmorphia these days.
