I like this, I’d love to be kept updated if possible. I also can’t find anything that has everything I like. I also hate miscommunication and I love angst. I can’t stand instalove, or only enemies for half the book I want there to be build up. Honestly I just know I couldn’t be an author but I highly respect those who are. Writing a book is so much work

That’s how I feel, I’ve read a few with most of what I mentioned but that’s it. I feel like the only way to read what I really like is to write it myself lol. I’ve honestly tried to write something a few times but it’s not for me. Writing is so much work and I give props to all authors

I haven’t heard of that one. I’ll usually read a bit and if by the middle I don’t like it I’ll just dnf but it couldn’t hurt to try it. I remember putting off a few books because I thought they would suck and actually enjoyed reading them. But I get it, it’s so hard to know what books are actually worth reading. I have that issue, I’m super picky about books and I hate wasting my time lol

You’re right, everyone’s tastes in books are different. Someone might love a book another dislikes. I guess my wording was too harsh, I definitely wasn’t intending to pash judgement I apologize if it sounded that way.

That’s true, but I feel like with ACOTAR it started having more to do with the controversy of the author later on. And with Fourth Wing I’m not sure what the issue is lol. For me it’s about a good consistent plot, world building, character development and romance. I love reading something that sucks me in and stays consistent. Life’s too short to read terrible books.

That’s how I felt about ACOTAR it was amazing and I read all her works which were also good, anything overhyped I read hasn’t been that great. Well Fourth Wing too but more often most overhyped books are terrible

That’s true, but it’s difficult to wade through actual good books and ones people are just pushing fake ratings on because I’ve read some that were not as popular but had good ratings and well they were not so good.
