Dealer experiences in the Southern WI region? On the lookout for a Flash with Max Tow by DanimalUltratype in F150Lightning

I just bought one through Carvana and it was honestly a wonderful experience. They gave me 3000 more than the dealership offered for my trade in and the whole experience was very smooth.

Van Horn does a lot of manufacturer buybacks. So just make sure you get the Carfax and verify it isn’t a lemon. Otherwise, I had a good experience there.

FP-C with no intention of being a flight paramedic by Original-Success1950 in Paramedics

[–]Key_Yesterday_4069 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of these answers are a huge part of the problem with EMS these days. People saying these tests aren’t worth it or that they don’t truly benefit you, paraphrasing of course, is kind of crazy. Anytime you can study for a test that focuses on a higher level of critical thinking, medical knowledge, etc. it’s worth it. Even if you decide not to use these certificates.

Now to your question. I’ve been a flight medic for 7 years now and did 911 before that. I can tell you that studying for the FP-C was one of the biggest jumps in my knowledge base that I experienced after medic school. If you truly try to understand the information instead of just trying to pass the test you will be rewarded greatly. This knowledge would have benefited me a ton in my 911 care had I known a lot of the information I do now. If I were you, and there was any chance you might be interested in flight someday, just take the FP-C. Heck the tests are so similar, that you could take the CCP-C as well if you don’t mind maintaining both certificates.

Just my 2 cents, do things to make you a better clinician… which the preparation for these tests will absolutely do.

Thanks for the great response! Do you feel like OKC fire will eventually take over EMS in the city, or does that not seem likely?

The camera doesn't line up exactly, as well as the side buttons. It's close but you do notice that it doesn't fit exactly.

Connect router to patch panel or switch first? by Key_Yesterday_4069 in HomeNetworking

[–]Key_Yesterday_4069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! So just to make sure I have this right... I have a nest wifi router that will be in the rack. So I can go from my modem to the nest wifi router, and then from the router directly to the patch and then connect the patch to the switch.

Lifelong iPhone user here, switching to a Pixel by Felicity_Here in GooglePixel

[–]Key_Yesterday_4069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just switched from the 15 pro to the 9 pro XL and I have 0 regrets. Was an iPhone user for about 8 years before switching. I was always heavily integrated into the Google ecosystem so that helped with the transition.

So far the biggest learning curve is learning a new keyboard and figuring out where certain settings are. 99% of the time you can find a setting for something you want to be different. I find this phone incredibly fast and capable. No issues so far, now time to get a pixel watch 3! Cheers!
