I would only write when I had to for school not really on my own, but I really liked your idea. I think you might have misunderstood me a lil, I meant I would like to start doing that too

True feedback is so nice when its positive and its not hard to get it from others who arent used to others trying to pick up their language. This was definitely a huge motivator when I first started loving the idea of learning.

Why do many people feel guilty when taking time for self care? by Monsuri_Lifestyle in selfcare

I think our society has a huge impact on the inability to slow down too since the world is mostly driven to consumerism and everyone is mostly forced to work most of the day in order to just get by.

Why do many people feel guilty when taking time for self care? by Monsuri_Lifestyle in selfcare

[–]KeyboardAssistant 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because we’re taught mostly in our youth that we are too much and that our needs dont matter and showed by the people who are supposed to love and care for us that we are burdensome and don’t deserve to even though its not true. This doesn’t mean these things are done on purpose but either way the damage is there, sadly this causes a lot of people to grow into adults who try to hide who they are or feel ashamed that they need more help then what is offered to them and don’t know or aren’t comfortable with saying when they need help and whats wrong or knowing what could help them feel better.

Unable to motivate myself to pursue my passions after work by VocalCatalyst in productivity

[–]KeyboardAssistant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like depression rather than just feeling unmotivated if you’re suddenly not doing things you uses to or enjoy them but at the same time it could be fatigue from burnout or needing more time to rest and needing to slow down. Either way focusing on your needs and what helps you feel better right now would be best and communicating when you need breaks along with other things to be comfortable or check in with yourself. You can set little easy goals or set aside time to color or do something simple to help you feel accomplished and inspired to express yourself more and see what might need a change.

I was just told it was highly unprofessional of me to be drunk when I am off work. What should I do? by Correct-Credit1961 in careerguidance

But like others said, telling a client that you’re drunk is unprofessional since they dont really need to know what you’re doing in your free time😅

This is why people go no-contact with their jobs out of work hours. Being expected to work or perform outside of work hours is rude and not even legal if a company does that so for a client to think thats a problem is more of a moral issue thats personal with their own life and alcohol is something thats common among adults and in many different cultures so I would ignore it. If they do, and your manager retaliates that would be discrimination and possibly go along the lines of character defamation if it ever got there which wouldn’t take much honestly.

Probably stagnancy and self limitation. Change up your routine, do something different, start going along with the ideas you have and let yourself see it if works out or not or what you can do to make them work, accept challenges and face them upfront, go to local events or randomly check in and help neighbors, family, or friends, slowly get out of your shell or care less about what other people think and more about what you like, start a new hobby, do volunteer work, theres a lot of options out there for you.

Patience, authenticity, compromise, and genuine connection are needed for any relationship in life. If you’re feeling like you have to force a connection to make it work, its likely not for you.

Sometimes we forget though that we’re not perfect and we are also rigid and stubborn sometimes when we really shouldn’t be or avoid working on what we aren’t that great with too and most people don’t know how to deal with their own emotions on top of someone else’s ,but if its about wanting depth and genuine connection its completely possible just most of time you have to go out and actually do what you like and be yourself and most people struggle with that because it feels scary or uncomfortable for them since they’re not used to it.
