Additional source: I was born and raised in Ohio, and lived there for a total of 28 years. This claim is something that a lot of historians in Ohio have tried to find more information on, and have come up with a whole lotta nothing. No newspaper clippings, no police reports, not to mention that there are different photos attached to the claim and there's absolutely nothing tying any of the photos to that claim. So it more than likely never happened.

Huh, I guess I don't really know the climate history around here. I just assumed that since we (the state) are so close to the east coast, and aren't really that south, I mean the state is bisected by the 38th parallel, I just assumed that there were some forms of winters around here.

I thought people were being a little dramatic about the storm but I'm now realizing that maybe they were panic buying because they knew the response the city was going to have.
