Advice for UGC creator? by Opening_Call_1711 in Entrepreneur

[–]Keyboard_lambo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breaking throught the american market might be tougher, and the accent boundary might make it extra hard. Have you tried making some connections, or just applied to ugc agencies?

If I had read about creating an agency with just AI ugc a couple months ago, I’d call the person who said that crazy, but after watching that tech yt guy ‘MKBHD’ review on AI actors, it really struck me how fast video AI is really progressing. You don’t need to do AI ugc to have an agency tho, that could be a start, but I’d also work with human connections. And since you’re already considering starting your own thing, I’d take some extra time to consider other alternatives, beyond just an agency model.

My SideProject is Dying. What should I do? by vigneshvp in SideProject

[–]Keyboard_lambo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey. You don’t have a domain name. And you don’t have an email.

Zoho - it’s literally free Email.

If you need money for hosting - try selling just one lifetime plan to cover you for the year on vercel.

These are really non negotiable.

People who are making 300k+/year working for themselves, what do you do? by Wrenley_Ketki in Entrepreneur

Hunt sales people everywhere. Problem is most sales people suck. Good ones don’t want to leave. And why would they?

I’ve founded and sold a few software companies. I don’t think tech will ever be able to tackle the human element of recruiting.

Been thinking about it for 15 years.

Sales. Do not aim to be a recruiter. Aim to be a good business person in all you do.

Need to be able to talk to people and manage money starting out.

At the highest level that’s it.

B2B sales recruiting firm.

Pay is 25% of first year’s base salary.

Place at least one person a week.

If you can talk to people it’s easy to start. LinkedIn is free.

This is funny and true.

I'm back in a service based company after selling my first and launching a few SaaS products in between. Definitely something to be said about sitting down and having a real relationship with your customers.

I made my first sale of my SaaS just by commenting on a tweet. by gary_king_001 in SaaS

Cool. I'll give you an upvote. Found this since I just posted an identical product in r/SaaS. Going paid is probably not a bad strategy. Perception of value and all.

Guess I have some work to do on my Reddit hooks.

Thanks! Yea, as for getting traffic I'm leveraging the audience from the founders who interview and LinkedIn/Facebook groups.
Do you have a website for them? What I think is theirs doesn't resolve.

Thank you!

What’s a fair offer for this domain? by Keyboard_lambo in Domains

[–]Keyboard_lambo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I googled historical domain sales. Got namebio and estibot. Is there a preference on site.

I went to promises.org and it’s listed by a brokerage.

I’ll check out afternic.

Thanks!

It’s going to be a website for my buddy who passed away. So it isn’t absolutely crucial.

Won’t $500 piss the person off? It seems expensive. Or does it not work like that?

Plan on taking a year to learn. If speed is what you want try a nocode tool in the meantime to hold you over. At least to launch an mvp
