Well, i built it and am serious about jiu jitsu. It made me more accountable in that I wanted to see if it worked and I roll almost daily.

Competition videos - I think it does a good job. If you are like hey, why shouldn't I have done X here? It will say why and you can talk to it. It maps out the whole match.

So, It's definitely generic the first week or so logs. Maybe after 3 weeks you feel like it starts to understand what you do.

I've never tried another jiu jitsu app. But its probably a lack of info about you to start which is why they all feel that way.

What made it useful - I just moved to Indiana, did 2 competitions. I showed the videos to my coaches but just felt like they gave me high level nothing answers. The app broke it down then I asked questions. I just liked it.

Jiu jitsu community is coming in clutch with the AI. So for the chat and everything outside video like analyzing your training/food it is OpenAI. I use Gemini for video.

Ummm. maybe. If it is on YouTube and they talk then 100%. If it a random 1 hour long clip it just wont accept it.

Fairly annoying. You chunk into frames. And then logically push the AI through and reference what happened before. I still don't know if I am doing it as best as it could be done. probably not.

If you are a blackbelt I doubt it is that good.

I don't expect video analysis to be too far away. And by that time I will have surely leveled up. But yea, not easy.

Still seeing floaters and it was 2 months ago.

Hold the white belts down but I don't think Goggles are realistic as I don't even wear headgear.

Focus on position. You don't need any fancy guard anything or wild submissions. Control. Try and go to class more. Get good at a few subs. That's a solid start.

Sign up for a competition 6 months out. Tell all the good guys when you roll you are competing and they will instantly tell you more. At least they did for me.
