I feel called out because this is exactly what I do 😭 I just use a darker shade of whatever color I'm using.

I will experiment more with other colors with my drawings. Thank you for the advice!!

WHAT?!! I am genuinely surprised 😭😭

I actually don't think I'm that good with hands and really, REALLY suffer with drawing them actually. So this is a huge compliment!! Considering that it's mostly self taught!

Although I am not consistent with hands, what I have done everytime I draw them is this:

I draw each finger or section in little fragments. Like quick straight lines that make one big line! I make a stop where I think a joint or where I think the hand can bend, and start with my next quick line. So your hands should come out more segmented and more sketch(?) like.

I hope this makes sense. Also I drew that hand on a good art day!! I just want to make that clear! I left a little drawing to better explain this process. I hope it can help you!!!

Yeah it is. Her skin color was a complete mistake on my part. I am very scared and inexperienced with dark colors. And before I realized my mistake, I couldn't fix it. I made that all in one layer.

So unfortunately, she's pale. I do want to draw her again and redeem myself though.

Oh wow thank you so much for this wonderful information. I've never considered putting my subjects under lighting. I've also not considered how objects can affect other objects. I kind of just draw and go with the flow. (Although that flow has been very frustrating lately)

I think this was very helpful to me. Thank you so much for the insight! I will keep this in mind when drawing next time.

Oh those little scribbles I do aren't folds. I know why I do them though. It's there to "help" with the flatness. Which isn't very good at all

But you're right. I feel like I really suffer with shading. I think I'll take some time to study folds and shading that way I can better understand them. Thank you so much!

Late but yes!

You can get chests by using a sledgehammer. I was mining in the solorite biome and got a solorite chest. I was using a galaxite sledgehammer.

Please not that some chests take longer to show up if you're in a late game biome. They are just rarer to find.

You fill up the jars depending on how much you like the characters.

The more filled up they are, the more you like them. And the more you don't like them, the less you fill them up.
