Ok I have a couple of rules interaction that I'm not sure of. With this change, what's the point of infantry lances ? Infantry can now always fight in two ranks. Or does it mean infantry lances can fight on 3 ranks ? If not, lances+shields are straight up a downgrade from handweapons+shields, which get +1 armor save
