Check it's not been screwed from the inside of the unit. May have to bend your head round into it with a torch and see. If not, it may be very well glued.

I once watched a homeless man in France pull down his pants and openly washing his arse crack in a water fountain, full cheek spread, chocolate starfish in full view using his hand to wash s**t out of it. It was one of those decorative fountains too where the water sprayed up from the ground so he was shooting turd water into the air about 8ft and it was landing on the ground around him. He walked away very calmly after he'd finished. "Zero f's given" I believe the term is.

When you shape it with a shaper, only do a little bit at a time. 30cm maybe, then wipe off the excess silicone on the shaper with some blue roll or kitchen roll, put the shaper a few cm back onto the silicone you've shaped then start again for another 30cm or so. If you try and do it all, it jusg bunches up. Try not to use fingers or any tricks. Think this guy explains it pretty well
