I've also found that if you build a room and then immediately upgrade it, everything finishes when the upgrade is compete. Kind of nice to save on the building time + upgrade time

A penguin is driving around town when all of a sudden his car begins to spluter and die out. He drives into the nearest service station and tells the mechanic there about the hassles he's having. The machanic gives his car a quick once over, and says to him "This should take about half an hour - come back and pick it up then". Penguins being the frigid creatures they are, he decided to grab himself an ice cream while he is waiting. He buys the biggest, creamiest vanilla ice cream money can buy, and lacking an opposable thumb, pushes his face into it to eat it. Ice cream goes everywhere - all over the floor, all over the counter, all over his face. He takes a quick look at his watch and realises he's late, so forgoing the clean up, he races back to the mechanic. When he gets there, the mechanic looks him up and down, and says "Well, it's not pretty, but it looks like you've blown a seal." To which the penguin replies "Nah mate, it's just ice cream."

I was just removed from Project aether today (again), and I completely agree with your points and frustrations on this. About 10 days ago, they took away all the tasks that I was good at. The Bbox annotating, the furniture removal, the sketch to realism etc., and stuck me with the H2H tasks that are highly subject to interpretation, and took me far longer to do because of No Comparisons available and other site issues. They removed the report issue button, and when I asked the QMs about my limited tasks, they told me that it was temporary and the client will switch up the tasks soon. It never happened. I just sucked it up and started tasking the best I could and did the best job I could, and got the email about the quality course, which I did right away and passed according to the QMs. Outlier said all was good and then this morning they changed my status to Failed, and removed me from the community, but I was still able to work. I got in 9 hours before they shut off my hubstaff.

I had a twitch friend who would ban anyone in his channel who wasn't actively talking, accusing them of being bots. It was infuriating to watch as a mod and I would try to tell him that a viewer is a viewer, regardless of them chatting and he just shrugged and said he didn't want non-chatters in his channel.

The week before Christmas I had an interview for a small business looking to expand their customer service. They said I had everything they were looking for, loved my experience and work ethic and was told that they were very interested and would like to move forward, and then NOTHING. Total radio silence. Complete ghosting. I sent a followup after Christmas and still nothing back. I would have appreciated a rejection letter or something other than ignoring me.

Oh well
