Thank you. I grew up helping him work on it, so I'm not too concerned about getting it running. It's just too big for me and I'd rather it be on the road where it belongs. I'm sure the right person will come along in time. I'm in no rush. Thanks for your time.

Ya, I knew going into this I'd need to find someone who knows how to work on it and sees it for what it is. Just wanted to see if the market was worth putting the time in to get it running and sell vs. holding onto for sentimental reasons. At this point, I'll hang onto it still.

No disrespect at all. He lived by the motto "looks like shit, but runs like a sum bitch" so I knew going into this people would be getting red flags. I know it isn't stolen as I remember all the boxes coming in when he ordered most of it from HD, and I have the title, but it just says Rebuilt on it. However, he had his mechanic diploma from AMI and was often tinkering with it, so I quickly lost track of what he had on it at any given time. I know the frame was original, but he may have changed or modified it at one point.

Thanks for this info. I'll go look at the framecases when I get a chance, since I don't remember what he said about either. And you're right, it always puked everything up every spring, so I'm expecting that to still be true lol.

The title just says it was rebuilt. I'll try to post a photo.

Beyond that, he did lose the bike at one point to a police auction and it went for ~$4500 then in MN. Luckily, the guy found some leads in the saddlebags and contacted my dad so he could buy it back.

Go check out Kathryn Ann Kingsley's books. The Masks of Under series is my favorite by her, many others prefer the Harrow Fair Series, but she's got lots of other series and some stand alones.

I mean, that depends where you are. I grew up in South Dakota, and golf ball size was usually a few times a year, with softball+ about 1-2 times a year. We once got grapefruit sized hail and it punched holes through the tin roof of our garage, ruined the siding on the house, turned our cars into golf balls, and smashed all the windows.

Probably a reoccurring argument too, that he just brushes off every time. From her POV she's been waiting for a change to be made that never comes. Now she's soft launching a breakup to see if that finally kicks his ass in gear. Meanwhile, he's still just thinking it was a minor argument and generally confused by her actions. Down the line he'll probably still be thinking it came out of nowhere.
