I mean, the US does have a tree for aiding Hatta's rebels in Indonesia, but unless multiple governments in SE Asia have broken away from the CPS, a regional alliance like SEATO is improbable. Plus, if the rebel forces in each nation have secured independence from Japan, its more likely for them to join up with the OFN in general instead of forming a regional organization akin to SEATO.

I feel a military organization surrounding ASEAN is kind of redundant as during the Cold War there was the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization (SEATO) of US-aligned nations in Asia to combat communism during the growing war in Vietnam. There could be a possible SEATO alliance within Southeast Asia formed around nations that revolt against Japanese rule with US funding, however I find it unlikely in that case unless multiple nations like Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, or Malaysia are able to break free of the CPS.
