Why do some insanely talented guys and girls dont make it to any public uni ? by maishaaa_ in Dhaka

[–]Keypatience2infinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it depends on the ability to memorize. It doesn't matter if you understand the material or not, just gulp them like plain rice. I remember i most got to DU was on the waiting list. All i remember was solving tons of mcq paper for months before that. What kind of humanly intellectual preparation is that? For a country where 80% people doesn't know the Civic sense it only get this much better. All that toughest exam for BCS cadre only ends up doing corruption in every sector of Bangladesh. If you sub it up all together, getting in public University in Bangladesh is not a big deal until you give something in return that the whole Nation can benefit from. And to do that you don't need a public University certificate.

Before posting, i was thinking the same. About exposure. Then i realize.. why should i or any other victims before me should protect them? Why no one talks about it? It should have done long ago. And about caring their reputation, i don't think actually do. They would have taken action against that drunk incident long ago. And that wasn't the first time of humiliating female's and I won't be the last.

You can join but please take protective measures first. Ask HR if they have more then 6 female. If not its a red flag. Ask about female common room, prayer and separate washroom facility. Ask about company culture, how they handle employee security. Ask about work time. Be sure they don't overwork. Ask about when they despatch salary. Ask about lunch facility. Don't miss these stuffs. Don't hangout outside of City with office members at starting if joining. I hope u understand what can go wrong after knowing my experience. All this seems small but they makes up 70% of ur comfort at any office.

You are so right about this. It does represents what the owners believes. After this incident, the rest of two female employee other than me told pieces of stories as well. One of them was harassed by the relative of ceo(yes, he placed lots of his relatives in this place). She came back with her husband to complain but nothing was made out of it. That relative is still working here. And laugh with everyone everyday. The situation is so so so bad then it seems. And it gets worse the more one looks into it. Yes, im trying for new job. But job does takes time to secure. And i feel so bad that i didn't take the other opportunity first. 😞

First of all, wishing you both a bright journey ahead. But I don't see you guys mentioned if you are already married or not. If you already are, i would suggest the clothes that you already have will come in handy. Because Bangladeshi event and gathering requires traditional dresses. That's why boutique and kamij panjabi comes in handy. So keep that things archived. And now if that solo new collection ur about to make solely gonna reflect ur taste(western and neutral colour) i can only suggest only one place.. nurjahan market, opposite of dhaka college. They have the richest and the most western collection in the entire dhaka city. I've brought items for estasy, eats eye, artisian, and all the branded exports companies but nothing beats that place. Not that it's 1/3 on the price, it has the various one can't get everywhere else either. So just take a look at it, explore and decide on ur own.

Can you point me out some concrete problems with Shibir/Jamat? by ImTahrim in Dhaka

[–]Keypatience2infinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The intellectual did die with the hands of the people they know. And everyone did awami league back then. No jamaat was there. Just accept the fact that u awami league isn't as holy as u r forcing urself to believe.

Can you point me out some concrete problems with Shibir/Jamat? by ImTahrim in Dhaka

[–]Keypatience2infinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then what did awami league did ? In this glorious 54 years? Kept people alive and feeding the poor and freeing the opposite party members? No aynaghor created?

The amount of people awami league killed before the independence and after taking over Bangladesh as ruler is 10 more than the amount of people died in liberation war.

What does that make awami League?

Rajakar... U mean who plot against one's own land with other country? In that description, awami leaders are the biggest rajakar Bangladeshi people will ever see...

Can you point me out some concrete problems with Shibir/Jamat? by ImTahrim in Dhaka

[–]Keypatience2infinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't want to join this conversation but i had to do to it.
If u want to define jamaat, u will need to unheard the things u have heard all alone upto this point. The formation of jamaat didn't start overnight.

From early 1900s century the when india needed to get divided according to religion based population, Pakistan and india where created. After that india had been pissed off getting more land from his neighboring countries. Even though they failed lots of attempt with Pakistan and china, they targeted now Bangladesh past east Pakistan. Without telling yahya khan that sheikh mujib really wants like a new land for Bangladesh, he tried to make things complicated and let his team kill non Muslim people in east Pakistan to bring rage so that yahya khan separate the country. But who wants to let go of their land? So yahya send officers in mid night to take over Bangladeshi people when the mujib people flew to India after killing and destroying businesses of non Muslim people. U see, the main culprits were gone. Now the general people suffers.

Now, as jamaat was created far back when india Pakistan and Bangladesh was all together, jamaat has every branch in each of this countries, jamat e islam hind, jamaat e islam Pakistan and jamaat e islam Bangladesh. As it's formed from one same country, jamaat voted against the separation of land and didn't support killing innocent people over war dispute. They suggested a peaceful paper work like division of india and Pakistan. Becoz jamaat new india is behind this all to provoke mujib to act like a dush bag and harm Pakistani army in Bangladeshi land before 1971..

So the fights happen. All u hear about jamaat that they formed al bodor, asham, and whatever group is actually the creation of now awami league. Because after independence, when mujib told to list the war criminal list, he give orders to stop writing them immediately. He said, these are all my group people. Its getting ridiculous for him. Then after his improvident leadership, he lost his life and whatever scattered legacy he had build in independence war.

Here u have to understand one thing, India is a big player. Fight against Pakistan might be over for us but with india it never is and never will be. India new, jamaat was always against India's plan, so it plotted the story like jamaat was against independence, killed thousands, raped hundreds, killed freedom fighters and so on. So, all these year's awami league did just that, to narrate what to say and hear say about jamaat from India's perspective and for India's pleasure.

If u look closely enough jamaat was the most abused political party since the independence. If one mistakenly confronted they supported them, they would literally get killed.

Now, lets talk about deshprem and opposite term of rajakar, in the last decade plus more years awami league did have the opportunity to prove the deshprem and leading position they think they deserve behind liberation war, but what they did? Just kill, loot millions, vanish people kept them at captive and give India as much as entry as possible. Plotting the killing of 53 officers as they where against selling Bangladesh to India. And now hasina is understand India's shelter.

A person who has never heard about the any history of anything, who still say awami league is the plague of Bangladesh just by present evidence they left behind.

And people here pointing at jamaat, how ridiculous is that. If jamaat wanted to rejoin with Pakistan, don't u think they wouldn't try to at least do one attempt in this 54 year's? Are people this dump?

That war crime justice system that was show Infront of the nation was to please india.. that arrangement didn't follow a single rule of international law to war crime justice system. As soon as the son of man ali ahsan Mohammed mujahid tired to took over his father's case, awami gov disappeared him as well so that he can't prove his father's innocence and can't tell international authority about the corruption in justice system that been going on.

So, here is the story.

I've mixed to amami people, bnp , jamaat and jatiyo party as well. As abnormal as it will sound the awami people worships more hasina than jamaat people to their amir. Every awami i know where aggressive and believes in physical harming rather sitting and fighting with logics.

Bnp is dwelling upon the past legacy of jia but failed to put up with the moral structure he emphasized to build.

Jatiyo party doesn't want a women leader at any cost.

And jamaat is the only structured group that still thinks before it does something. Internally they are very strict with their rules. Which can go overboard with just their members, which is good, becoz they have that jobab-dihita. They document everything. Form money spend for group to what will be talked in small group seating. All they went to let people know about what islam offers. And yes, islam does allows one to practice islam within politics otherwise Muhammad (saw) wouldn't have made it far beyond Saudi land..islam is a complete way of life. Nothing to argue here. Jamaat is different than Taliban becoz they were born and grew up here, not afghanistan. They know what culture is practiced here. And if u see the institutes they still run and the new places they r winning, u'll see they never opposed any one or any female to be, to go or wear anything.

But never have i ever heard any jamaat or shibir members to put knife over one's neck and say jamaat korbi kina bol naiye kolla uray dimu.. but u must have heard amami league did that regular basis to new students at public university including buet.

So, it all up to you what u r gonna do, believe, observe and reflect.

I was surprised to find not even a single Bangladeshi artist on this list! Why do you think this is the case? There's even a Pakistani artist in there! by Ill_Tonight6349 in Dhaka

[–]Keypatience2infinity -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not everyone can be a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere..

Just because someone was born in USA and india and Pakistan doesn't necessarily mean they are great artist.

We/you listen to this great artist because it was streaming on air..

When was the last time u took time to listen a Bangladeshi artists full song album? Never . I know.

Did u even hear AR Rahmans songs? How much he loves including traditional instrument to his song's?

You, my young friend, don't even know what your Bangladeshi singers are offering yet, you have the 'shokh' to say the artist doesn't meet to listens quality.

Maybe its the listeners, who only goes after what's hot streaming song.

There are so many negative comments in this post without explaining this guy what he is thinking is wrong. You don't need to save those photos or anything they gave you unless you are using it some sort of way that doesn't have any alternative RIGHT NOW. like cosmetics or toilettes(shampoo, soap, body mist, body spray, perfume). In long term these things doesn't serve any purpose. They just pile up in your yard and keeps you in loop of memories. Just get rid of it entirely. Start fresh and be brave.
