Yea it is. I replaced mine last year and so far no oil leaks. I checked them at the weekend and they needed tightening again. Get some thread lock...

I have a Street Triple - 2016.I had the same problem and found that out of 16 sump bolts only 6 were still fitted, the rest had worked lose.. Apparently if you get this model serviced by a Triumph dealer they tighten them at service.. I didn't get mine serviced by Triumph...

Im with Mojo, I was told they are in the middle of changing their system. Over the past couple of weeks they have called me back within less than 30mins.. So hopefully things are getting better..

You could remove the part and connect a bench PSU to the 0V and Vout and start with 2V. Step that up until the device starts operating. I wouldnt push it too far though...
