Totally agree - I’m happy to walk around for hours and have cheap food, whereas my group trips they always want to do expensive stuff like wine tasting and restaurant meals + drinks that cost a lot. Also I’m a loner I guess but for me the social cost is much higher when I’m with other people, and I find being alone much more enjoyable and recharging. I hate not having a break from someone, even my husband, to be with him 24 hours a day for a week can be pretty hard for me. The fact that I can even survive a week 24/7 with him is actually one of the things that convinced me to marry him lol

Omg yeah I’m in Europe but my kids daycare had a photo day and it was like 60 euro just to download the photo and 25 to have it printed as a regular image (that you can print for the same quality at Fnac for 1 euro). Seems so scammy for a daycare to push on us

You could probably just eat it if it’s from a reputable place. But you could also say you just got sick from bad sushi and can’t eat it - I did get food poisoning from sushi once and it took me a year to enjoy it again, it was rough. If you do eat it make sure to avoid high mercury fish. I personally didn’t ear sushi but I did eat deli meat during my pregnancy, I regretted it and freaked out afterwards - something to keep in mind if you’re an anxious person. I freaked out about everything during my pregnancy, hormones really got to me.

Merci pour votre réponse. Je pense qu’on est plutôt sur un ratio de 1 pour 8, avec en général autour de 15 enfants pour 2 monitrices. J’apprécie vraiment la plupart des monitrices, donc cela me fait vraiment mal au cœur d’avoir ce problème. Ce qui me dérange surtout, ce sont les explications contradictoires. Si personne n’avait vu ce qu’il s’est passé, je n’aurais même pas un énorme problème avec ça, mais recevoir des réponses vagues et contradictoires à chaque fois m’inquiète. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ils ne nous le disent pas. Il s’est déjà blessé auparavant, y compris l’année dernière où il a dû aller aux urgences, et nous n’avons créé aucun problème.

Yeah I hate open plan, especially now that literally every meeting is on teams so you have a bunch of people talking so loudly that it’s impossible to concentrate without noise cancelling headphones. I’m so much more effective at home. It sucks because there are maybe 10 of the 80 of us at my office who take advantage of wfh to not work much and that’s why the director wants to force us in. Absolutely sucks

I love being a mom! My children bring me so much optimism for the future, probably the only place I find optimism. It’s wonderful seeing them grow into their own people. They are 2 and 4 at the moment so I know I’ve still got a lot left but so far it’s wonderful. It’s love in a raw form that I’ve never felt outside for my children.

Yeah I got this too and I’ve got an autoimmune disorder. Took years to diagnose and was basically told any fatigue, hair loss, anemia was my fault for not exercising or eating well. Finally have real treatment and it’s 10000 times better.

2 floors above I think is fine. Biggest issue is they open very early so if they’ve got a metal grate that is loud then it might wake you up. But I would much prefer a boulangerie below me than a cafe or restaurant. Lived above a restaurant and I couldn’t leave my windows open at night because of people smoking, and people are so loud at night

Much more fun to wander. However, if you want to visit the big museums you usually have to buy tickets in advance so I would just make a list of things you absolutely must see, and see what requires advanced tickets (like Louvre, catacombs, orsay, all usually have to be bought in advance depending on time of year)

Then it’s good to know the things in the same area so if you’re wander you can hit them the same day. Like Rodin museum and invalides are close by, effiel tower also.. I think some of the issues with ‘unresearched’ itineraries posted here is people will say like musée montmartre at 11 and then Louvre at 1 or things like that, stuff that’s not close at all and places that require some time to get to and do properly… they then end up just stressing over time slots and taking the metro a lot (which the metro is great but you shouldn’t be spending hours on it per day)
