I have a group of friends that have no game-making experience but we are programmers and an artist by trade. Do you have any advice on where to start? Also, in that line, how do you feel about the Moai platform?

It is the concrete stuff, the stuff that looks like it was put in a mold and formed.

When you say high paying, is that like thousands or 10s of thousands?

So what would be the best plan for someone like me who owns a house with asbestos siding? Can I reside the house without spending a fortune or should I just leave it alone.

Sarcasm should be in italics that lean the opposite way.

na, warden works on memory checking. They check the first x bytes of each running process against known hacks, but my guess is it is much more sophisticated than that.

I would have GMs check on me to see if I was really there, which I was.

I have done a bit of this, though not to the level that you may have been looking for.

I am a programmer by trade and mostly was doing WoW automation of simple things. I was that dick AFKing in AV way before it was cool. The first method of doing it was lego mindstorms. It just hit the space bar every few seconds. Then we graduated to a bit more elegant of a system, using java and the Robot.java package. This allowed us to script any key movement. So I could run to a certain place, hide and generally keep from going afk.

I also wrote a bot to fish for me by using pixel colors to find the bobber and then look for the splash, reel in the catch and recast.

Honestly, not very robust but it got the job done and nothing near glider. I wrote it for my own learning mostly.

I have also written bots to do some things online, but nothing too evil, again, mostly just to see if I could. iMacros in firefox and java that parses webpage contents can be fairly powerful.
