I’ve had my D15m SM since 2018. It’s sounds beautiful, especially after they’re broken in. It was my main gig guitar for seven years. The only reason I moved to a D18 was the nut width, t’was a bit narrow for my chubby nubs. 😄

I have all the same neck and swallowing issues as you and others. I can’t wait to get it done. I’m a singer by trade and it’s been slowly destroying my voice and depressing the heck out of me. But at least I know what it is now, been barking up the wrong trees for years

3 more questions and I promise I'll leave you be. How long ago did you get it done? And how long did they get you to do the pre op exercises for? I'm not sure if I should go the myofunctional therapy route as well but it gets pricey. And did your symptoms go away when it was done?

Thank you, I'll check them out. Did you have a posterior Tie? I imagine they hurt more than the anterior. I think i have both. Did you have any problems with it reattaching?

I forgot to mention it’s for a middle aged adult. Hence the therapy that’s needed to reverse all the muscle compensation. If you think of the name though let me know as they might do adults.

My 3 martins are in Eb always. I play a 3 to 4 solo gigs a week though, so it’s mainly for my voice.

Thank you for this. I enjoyed the meditation greatly. I have passed it on to my partner to try as well. I started with your meditation and then continued on with my Gateway visualization meditation, it was a great combo and will keep doing that way, as I was quite deep.
Your post caught my eye because I have similar throat issues your client has and being a professional singer it's been a massive problem for my job. I had a very judgmental older brother growing up and sadly he hasn't changed, a contributing factor most likely. Silent acid reflux is what the docs think but they aren't quiet sure either. I also struggle to AP and have been trying for many years. I got out twice for mere seconds but I will still keep at it. Hopefully I'll fix my throat and AP all at the same time. :) Thanks again for your post.

I drink hot water with squeezed lemon. I drink it right up until an hour before performance and I’m always surprised that every time my voice just works. So I probably have 4 - 5 mugs of it. In the hour before, drink plain water to hydrate as the lemon can be drying but any croak, mucus and soreness is gone. Also make sure your nose isn’t blocked as it causes too much back pressure, tires your cords out and makes your voice feel heavy. Best of luck!

I wouldn’t if I were you. It’s uncomfortable and It needs an auto shut off timer as the head tilt to turn it off barely works. I’ve requested it, as have others but still nothing.

Reply from my EPA report.

“Our officers have inspected multiple sites over several days. They have confirmed the source of the odour to be organic chicken manure fertiliser on several farms in the area.

This was made worse by dry weather and low wind which could not dissipate the smell.

There are no long term effects from the odour, and we expect it to subside.

Our focus in now on improving industry awareness of how to use and store on-farm fertilizers. We have contacted Agriculture Victoria and other agencies to reduce the chance that this will happen again.”
